Chapter 530: 56th Chapter Tao Country
When Qingxu True Monarch’s massive Dharma Form appeared over Yidu Prefecture City, the whole Ming Province had already plunged into chaos!
Not just limited to Yidu Prefecture, Qingxu True Monarch’s meticulously planned rebellion affected the entire Ming Province!
However, since the Daluo Sect was located within the territory of Yidu Prefecture, it had the strongest control over the city and could execute the plan in the shortest time.
Apart from the provincial capital of Ming Province, there were four other prefecture cities, fourteen ordinary cities, seventy-nine towns, and several hundred villages covering an area of about 230,000 square kilometers and a population exceeding 12.7 million!
In terms of both area and population, it ranks in the middle among the twenty-three provinces of the Da Lan Dynasty.
Now, Qingxu True Monarch’s sudden rebellion aimed to bring the entire Ming Province under his control!
In addition to Yidu Prefecture, rebellions also broke out in the provincial capital of Ming Province, Jingmen Prefecture, Xiuzhou Prefecture, and Jinshan Prefecture.
Without exception, each uprising was led by the Imperial Camp Army, the strongest military force, which suddenly turned traitor!
If it were just the Imperial Camp Army of Yidu Prefecture that had rebelled, one could argue that the Daluo Sect had effectively infiltrated it.
But the fact that all the Imperial Camp Armies across Ming Province had rebelled indicated that it was not just a human error.
It was a problem with the Sha Qi!
Although over the years the court had been reducing the Taoists’ control over the local Righteous Courts to minimize their influence on the Sha Qi,
Given the presence of the Daluo Sect in Ming Province, no matter how much they were weakened, there were still members of Daluo Sect in every Righteous Court throughout the province, and nearly all the Sha Qi used by the Imperial Camp Army of Ming Province had been handled by the Taoists.
This was part of Qingxu True Monarch and Qing Ding True Man’s plan; they had spent over twenty years stealing Dragon Energy while also strategizing over the entire Ming Province, covertly tampering with the Sha Qi maintenance used by the Imperial Camp Army.
Now, once triggered, disciples of the Daluo Sect only needed to hold a counterfeit Daluo Token personally refined by Qingxu True Monarch to manipulate the Imperial Camp soldiers’ minds through the Sha Qi, thereby seizing direct control of this formidable combat force!
There were more than five hundred Imperial Camp Cavalrymen in the provincial capital of Ming Province, and in each of the four prefecture cities of Yidu, Jingmen, Xiuzhou, and Jinshan there were over two hundred Imperial Camp Cavalrymen.
In total, there were over fifteen hundred Imperial Camp Cavalrymen!
A hundred Imperial Camp Cavalry gathered in a military formation could compete against a Martial Arts Master, and more than a thousand Imperial Camp Cavalry assembled could besiege a Great Grandmaster!
Across the whole of Ming Province, there were no universities and no Martial Arts Sects.
Apart from the Daluo Sect, the strongest combat force was a Martial Arts Master in the provincial capital, who was the Chief of the Zhi Ge Department.
However, this Chief, despite his status, was no match for the more than five hundred assembled Imperial Camp Cavalrymen in military formation and chose to flee at the first sign of trouble!
Almost all the powerful Magic Dao practitioners were rebels, and the Martial Arts masters couldn’t withstand the Imperial Camp Army.
The only forces left capable of fighting were the armed Inspectors and the soldiers of the City Guard Army.
But they too were incapable of standing against the Magic Dao-supported Imperial Camp Army.
Those who didn’t die surrendered!
So after Qingxu True Monarch’s enormous kilometer-high Dharma Form appeared in Yidu Prefecture, similar colossal Dharma Forms appeared in Jingmen Prefecture, Xiuzhou Prefecture, Jinshan Prefecture, and the provincial capital.
If viewed from above, the map of the entire Ming Province resembled an irregular ellipse.
East, South, West, North, and Central–in these five directions, five gigantic kilometer-high Dharma Forms appeared:
In the East, Yidu Prefecture, the Dharma Form of Qingxu True Monarch was a vibrant emerald green, teeming with boundless vitality, akin to an eternally thriving towering tree.
In the South, Jingmen Prefecture, the Dharma Form of Qingxu True Monarch was fiery red, embodying endless light and heat, reminiscent of a mighty sun descending, shining brilliantly.
In the West, Jinshan Prefecture, the Dharma Form of Qingxu True Monarch was bright white, exuding an unmatched sharp aura, similar to a sky-piercing sword.
In the North, Xiuzhou Prefecture, the Dharma Form of Qingxu True Monarch was a profound black, surrounded by surging waves, as if the waters of the North Sea had been relocated, encompassing all things.
Finally, in the central provincial capital, the Dharma Form of Qingxu True Monarch was earthy yellow, resembling a colossal mountain carved out of stone, massive and widespread.
East corresponds to Wood, South to Fire, West to Metal, North to Water, and Earth at the Center!
When the five colossal Dharma Forms of Qingxu True Monarch took shape, their energies immediately interconnected, forming a vast Five Elements Array almost spanning thousands of miles, covering nearly the whole of Ming Province!
After this unimaginably huge Five Elements Array formed, on Daluo Peak situated within Yidu Prefecture, a massive golden beam shot towards the sky.
This golden beam enveloped nearly the entire Daluo Peak, with a gigantic golden coiling dragon visible above the beam.
The dragon’s tail dangled at the foot of Daluo Peak, while its head disappeared into the heavens.
Soon, beside the Dharma Forms of the five Qingxu True Monarchs in the five directions, a golden dragon also appeared by each.
The golden dragons flew continuously around the Dharma Forms, appearing vividly lifelike.
“Emperor’s Dragon Qi?!”
In the provincial capital of Ming Province, about ten miles outside the city on a small hill, Jiang Dong watched in astonishment as the huge Dharma Form in the city and the golden dragon that had appeared upon it.
Jiang Dong was the only Martial Arts Master in the provincial capital and the Chief of the Zhi Ge Department.
Upon seeing over five hundred Imperial Camp Cavalry forming a military array and advancing towards the Zhi Ge Department’s mansion, he knew he couldn’t withstand them, so he chose to flee immediately.
Since the Imperial Camp Cavalry did not pursue him, Jiang Dong stopped not far outside the city.
