He shook his head: “If I hadn’t stopped you, the few Qi Fortune Golden Lotuses that our Daluo Sect has nurtured with over eight hundred years of diligent cultivation would likely have all withered away!”

“No.”

Qing Xu True Monarch looked at Tai Yu, speaking very earnestly:

“You are mistaken, uncle. I, Qing Xu, would not neglect the foundation of the Daluo Sect for the sake of one person’s gains and losses. Everything I have done was for myself, for the Daluo Sect, and even more so for the entirety of the Taoist community!”

Tai Yu was so angry that he lost all decorum, pointing at the Thunder Pool:
