“Leng Siche!” Xia Yuxun shouted out in shock.

Xia Yuxun made a “psst” sound and giggled, “Even how easy it is to embarrass you hasn’t changed…”

“If you two want to catch up, can you go somewhere else?” Leng Sichen’s voice interrupted the warmth from this reunion.

“Brother, you are as scary as before.” Leng Siche gently laughed and then looked over to Xia Yuxun. He asked, “Lil’ Xun, do you have time tonight? Let’s get together? At Scarlet Bar.”

“Tonight? I shouldn’t have anything planned…” Xia Yuxun instinctively looked over Leng Sichen.

“Alright, as long as you have time. My brother will go tonight as well, so he won’t be arranging any work for you.” Leng Siche quickly helped her disperse her worry.

“Alright, I will be there. See you tonight.”

It was difficult to refuse such kindness, plus, he was Leng Sichen’s little brother, so she needed to give him face. Though she really wasn’t in the mood, she agreed to go in the end.

“See you tonight!” Leng Siche unnoticeably sighed in relief.

“Ah! Right! Siche, what’s your prescription?” Xia Yuxun circled back halfway and asked.

Leng Siche heard that familiar “Siche” from her and his entire heart melted. He answered bluntly and instinctively, “Left eye -10, right eye -8!”

After Xia Yuxun left, Leng Sichen looked at his younger brother thoughtfully, “When did your taste turn so heavy?”

Maybe that idiot Xia Yuxun couldn’t tell, but he noticed Leng Siche’s unusual behavior right away.

Leng Siche’s lips curled up and without hiding anything, he expressed his good mood, “Honestly speaking, I’ve always thought you liked Lil’ Xun and never thought you’d end up together with Ms. Bai. Since you never had the intention of being with Lil’ Xun, then I have nothing to worry about.”

Leng Sichen frowned, “Haven’t you always treated her coldly?”

“What right did I have to approach her with the physical conditions I had…” Leng Siche revealed much sullenness.

Leng Sichen was internally astounded. He never expected his quiet and shy brother would have feelings towards Xia Yuxun. The emotions he held runs far deeper than he had expected.

“Brother, bring your Ms. Bai tonight! A few classmates of mine, who came back with me from America, will be there too. The more the merrier.” Leng Siche excitedly suggested. Compared to before, his entire being seemed to have been reborn and he was now high in spirits.

“Mmhmm.” Leng Sichen answered without thinking much.

“You’ve met this morning?” Leng Sichen asked mindlessly as he flipped through his documents.

“Yes! She dashed out all flustered and bumped right into me. Oh right, she seemed to be crying at the time as well. Brother, do you know what happened?” Leng Siche asked out of worry.

Seeing the surprised look on Leng Sichen’s face, Leng Siche joked, “Did you bully her again?”

After a moment of silence, Leng Sichen rubbed his forehead and responded in a cold voice, “She couldn’t keep her private life out of her professional one. So I lectured her a little.”
