He didn’t have to wait long before Anita came out. The wedding was coming to an end, so Anita’s clothing and makeup style were much simpler and cleaner. A one-collared

“Owen, why are you here?” Anita saw Owen standing at the door as soon as she opened it.

“You two are finally here. I’ve been waiting for you.” Owen’s childhood friend, Daniel, leaned forward first and put his arm around Owen’s shoulder.

Anita felt overwhelmed without Owen by her side.
