But now, he might disappear, wouldn’t that mean she would never find out who he was?

“I will still be here waiting for you, sir,” Elizabeth called out to Xu Mo’s back, her voice carrying a hint of stubbornness. To her, Xu Mo was mysterious and powerful, the more she interacted with him, the more unfathomable he seemed.

Yet, despite all this time, she still hadn’t earned his complete trust, not even a glimpse of his face, which frustrated Elizabeth. Had she still not done enough?

She didn’t believe that he would truly disappear just like that!
