“I’ll figure something out,” Carter nodded.

“Alright,” Ize also nodded.

“Princess Elizabeth still doesn’t know the shares are mine. Worried that she might feel antagonistic towards me, it’s unnecessary to tell her for now. When the time is right and progress has been made, we can talk. By then, she won’t feel opposed,” Xu Mo continued. Both nodded, exchanging glances as if warning each other not to be coaxed into revealing more by Miss Elizabeth, although the secret was bound to come out eventually.

After the two left, Xu Mo breathed a sigh of relief, having gained the support of various parties–the company’s operations were beginning to get on the right track.

His plans were excellent, but realizing them would not be easy, entangling many issues.

At Lucas University, Douglas received a message, his brow furrowed, then he dialed a number on his communicator.

“Is there something you need?” a voice came from the communicator.

“Miss Elizabeth, I have some information about Sal that might interest you,” Douglas began.

“Go on,” Elizabeth said.

“Let’s meet to discuss it, this information is very interesting,” Douglas spoke, then fixed a meeting place.

Outside the training hall at Lucas University, Douglas’s group quietly waited. In the distance, a dignified and aloof figure approached, followed by several people–it was Elizabeth.

“Douglas, what’s so secretive?” Elizabeth inquired.

“Someone is backing Sal,” Douglas revealed.

“Supporting him from behind?” Elizabeth looked at him, somewhat puzzled by Douglas’s meaning.

“Yes,” Douglas said, “After the last battle, I noticed Sal had improved significantly. With his prior combat power, it was impossible for him to defeat me. I had someone watch him, and indeed, we discovered something interesting.”

“What is it?” Elizabeth frowned. So, was Sal being manipulated by someone when he disrupted her birthday party?

“A mysterious Transcendent has been secretly training Sal. They often come here, to the training field,” Douglas said with a cold expression after his investigation uncovered this secret.

The last defeat, which had left him hospitalized and humiliated, was a grave insult that he desperately wanted to avenge.

But unexpectedly, he discovered Sal’s secret–someone was guiding him from behind.

That person was the cause of his bitter defeat.

“A university instructor?” Elizabeth asked.

“Probably not,” Douglas replied, “This is Lucas University. If it were an instructor coaching Sal, it would mean offending us, which is unlikely. It also wouldn’t be someone from the Sasi Kingdom. I’ve had people follow him, but each time they lost track. However, we can somewhat make out that it’s possibly a student from Lucas University.”

“A student?” Elizabeth frowned, “That’s impossible. There aren’t many in the Extraordinary Department stronger than you.”

The top students in the Lucas University Extraordinary Department were mostly known to them; it was hard to imagine anyone coaching Sal against Douglas and her.

“What if it’s not from the Extraordinary Department? We might not even be aware of their combat power,” Douglas said, “Is it possible that this person deliberately uses this chance to approach Sal, wanting to collaborate with the Sasi Kingdom? Moreover, they always come fully equipped and hide their identity–perhaps fearing recognition. Many people might know them.”

Elizabeth furrowed her brows–was there such a formidable yet mysterious student at Lucas University?

Merely through coaching, this person had enabled Sal to defeat Douglas.

“You called me here just to tell me this?” Elizabeth asked.

“No, I asked you to come to see who it is,” Douglas said, “My men just informed me that he just went into the training room, before that, Douglas had entered too.”

A flicker of intrigue passed through Elizabeth’s eyes. Could it be possible to corner him today?

The battle between Xu Mo and Sal had ended, and Sal was sitting on the ground, panting heavily. Although his progress was significant, Xu Mo was too extraordinary, employing various unmatched techniques, still posing a threat to Xu Mo.

In comparison, Douglas was far inferior. Xu Mo’s abilities far surpassed those of Douglas.

“Shall we continue?” Xu Mo asked.

“No more fighting,” Sal shook his head.

“Hmm,” Xu Mo nodded, “I might not come often anymore.”

Sal looked up at Xu Mo, puzzled.

“Lately, someone has been following me, likely targeting you. Just now, when I came in, someone was watching, and there are quite a few people this time. They might block me,” Xu Mo said, having shaken off his followers several times already.

But judging by the situation, the opposition didn’t plan to give up easily, apparently trying to flush him out.

“I’ll go check it out,” Sal’s expression grew cold. Xu Mo had been training with him all these days, and yet there were people causing trouble?

It’s outrageous to send someone to follow him.

When Sal stepped out of the training room, he noticed a line of figures outside.

“Douglas, Elizabeth,” Sal said coldly, “What, can’t accept a loss?”

“Who is the person behind you?” Douglas stared at Sal and asked.

“Is it any of your concern?” Sal retorted, “Don’t forget, you are just someone I defeated.”

“No matter, just curious to meet him,” Douglas replied coolly, “To see who from Lucas University is talented enough to instruct and train a member of the Royal Family of Sasi Kingdom.”

Elizabeth remained silent, her gaze fixed inside.

Although she and Douglas often clashed, at this moment, she also wanted to know, who was behind Sal?

Did Lucas University still have such a formidable student hidden?

Meanwhile, many students from the Extraordinary Department gathered around, buzzing with discussions, initially confused about the confrontation, but as they exchanged whispers, they gradually understood what had happened.
