Song Cheng looked up, just as Su Kui wanted him to.

Su Kui was a bit impatient. “Song Cheng! Get off of me!”

“Ha, why don’t you keep on pretending? Have you become impatient?”

“Think what you want! Get off of me!”

Su Kui could not understand what was wrong with this man. The situation was totally different from what she had expected. Before the temperamental Song Cheng, something like pretending to be weak and pure was entirely useless!

Su Kui moved her body. The pain in her shoulder was so painful that it made her feel like dying.

Dark red blood slowly flowed out and dyed the white bed sheet under her red.

Song Cheng completely ignored what she said. He leaned down until his nose touched hers, and Su Kui’s eyes inevitably met his. There was a huge storm in his eyes that almost shattered her.

His voice was soft and focused. “Come on, tell me. What do you actually want?”

“I want you!” Su Kui instinctively blurted out as she looked into his eyes.

Those were the words that were deep in her heart.

Song Cheng slowly curled up the corners of his lips. His smile was cold and cruel. “Haven’t I said it before? Don’t play petty tricks in front of me anymore, and don’t use yourself as bait!”

When she was injured, his heart suffered too. It was an inexplicable emotion that slowly occupied and controlled his consciousness.

Song Cheng clearly knew that this was very detrimental to him. As someone who was standing at the pinnacle of society, he had to keep a cool head at all times. That was because he did not know how many poisonous snakes were hiding in the dark corners, just waiting for the right opportunity to strike.

However, he could not break free from this inexplicable emotion. It was just like addictive heroin, and it made him lose his mind.

When he first heard her cry out in pain, his body had already walked toward her before his brain could react.
