After some slight hesitation, Song Cheng ended up sitting down.

He usually came very late at night and always left right away after his sexual needs were taken care of. He had never stayed overnight in Yuyuan Villa.

On a whim, he went over right after work today, never expecting to witness such a scene. The man’s mind, which usually worked perfectly fine when he was dominating the business world, suddenly went blank. He did not know what to do with the woman, who was standing there with a terrified look.

So, with a dark look on his handsome face, he asked in an increasingly chilly tone, “Are you afraid of me?”

Su Kui looked up in surprise. With her big watery eyes, she shook her head innocently. “No, I’m not…”

“Sit closer then!”

Su Kui literally moved only when he gave her a command, and she moved at a snail’s pace.

Song Cheng’s eyes darkened, and his black pupils were soon filled with displeasure. “Sit next to me!”

His tone was firm and unquestionable.

The temperature in the room seemingly dropped, affected by his intimidating aura. Su Kui ignored the goosebumps on her skin, got up quickly, and sat next to Song Cheng.

Even her breathing became fainter.

Song Cheng’s gaze was no longer so piercing now, as he was satisfied. He put some dishes into her bowl and said in a commanding tone, “Eat!”

Su Kui was starving. She had practically not eaten anything ever since she took over this body. The moment Song Cheng gave her the go to eat, she picked up her chopsticks immediately and started eating.

Since she was too hungry, she felt a mild ache in her stomach. As such, she had to eat slowly.

In Song Cheng’s eyes, she looked like someone who had been wronged and appeared pitiful, who was reminiscent of a submissive wife. He scowled. Was Tang Wan really that afraid of him?

He did not remember doing anything that would frighten her to such an extent.

He considered himself to be a relatively kind sugar daddy. He did not indulge in SM, never treated her badly when it came to providing her with money, and he gave her enough freedom.

‘What more does this woman want?’

While he thought about it, he lost his appetite. He threw away his chopsticks and tugged his tie with one hand as he strode toward the bedroom.

“I’m done eating,” he coldly said.

Su Kui looked at Song Cheng for a long while and blinked innocently. Then, she lowered her head to devour the food on her plate.

Song Cheng walked directly into the bathroom after he entered the bedroom. With the shower turned on, the cold water started to pour down on him, and his inexplicable fury was slowly quenched.

It was rare for him to lose his composure that way. Usually, Song Cheng would never allow himself to make such a mistake. Regardless of whether it was at work or in private, he ensured that he was always clear-headed and in control of everything.

What happened today had caught him off guard indeed…

However, it was also because of this that he was able to see another side of Tang Wan, a side that he had never seen over the past six months.

‘Interesting.’ Song Cheng ran his hand through his pitch-black hair and swept it back, exposing his bare forehead.
