Chapter 35: “We Are School Mates.”

When Shen Haotian heard these words, he shot the refined young man in front of him an approving look. He had failed to consider sufficiently earlier.
“Yes.” Shen Haotian gave Lu Ziheng a thumbs-up. He then pointed at Madam Mu Rong and her friends to say to the manager, “You know what to do, right?”
The manager had accepted his money and naturally understood his duty.
He nodded and immediately called several bodyguards over. The bodyguards then forced the entire group of people before Shen Haotian and Lu Ziheng.
“Mr. Shen.” Madam Mu Rong typically lived off of her family’s money and had never dealt against such a powerful figure. “Please be generous and forgive me!”
“Ha.” Shen Haotian waved his index finger left and right. “You should be apologizing to the young man next to me!”
On the side, the scholar was already upset about the way his celebratory dinner had turned out. Naturally, he was also unwilling to apologize to the poorest little boy in his school.
The scholar lifted his chin: “Why?”
Lu Ziheng’s expression turned heavy: “Because your mother doesn’t know how to bark.”

It was inconvenient for Shen Haotian to leave. Thus, he remained in the hotel lobby and called Lu Ziheng, who was about to leave, back. “Do you know Shen Qinghuan?”
“En.” Lu Ziheng paused in his footsteps. He had no intention of hiding this from Shen Haotian, so he nodded.
Although Shen Haotian had been drunk that day and had failed to notice Lu Ziheng, Lu Ziheng had remembered Shen Haotian’s voice.
Shen Haotian was one step away from asking Lu Ziheng if he was dating her daughter.
Nevertheless, he held himself back. Especially if his guess was wrong, then he would appear slightly out of line. After all, this implicated his daughter’s reputation.
“She is my schoolmate.” Lu Ziheng’s response was very mild. “She has helped me in the past and is a very kind person. I don’t wish to hear anyone slandering her.”
She has helped me in the past.
She is a very kind person.
Shen Haotian felt that there had to be a story between Lu Ziheng and his daughter.
“I am Shen Qinghuan’s father.” Shen Haotian offered his hand as he spoke to Lu Ziheng, “It is Huan Huan’s honor to have a friend like you.”
Nevertheless, Lu Ziheng clearly understood Shen Haotian was worried they were dating at too young of an age. Even if Shen Haotian did not verbalize his hesitations, Lu Ziheng recognized them.
