He rubbed my hair with one hand and shook the hairdryer with the other. We looked at each other in the mirror. I could see the smile on his face. He seemed like
a different person from the cold, arrogant person he seemed like at first.

I took the hairdryer and turned to stroke his short silver hair. I knew that he was tall, and it wasn’t easy to blow-dry the hair of someone so much taller than me. I tilted my head back and raised my arms as I blew his hair. “Ravi, you’re too tall. Get down lower.”
Ravi cooperated with me and squatted again. Finally, our eyes were on the same level.

“No.” His eyes were still closed.
