Chapter 5: Unknown Man’s Control

Selina heard my words and came out of those terrible memories. “Well, at least you gained something.”

She suddenly became serious again, putting down the photo album as she looked at me guiltily. “Emma, do you still blame me for the divorce?”

“Of course not,” I took a stance quickly. Even though I was caught off balance from Mom’s sudden divorce at that time, after all these years, I didn’t mind it anymore. “We’re both doing fine now, and that’s enough.”

Selina was relieved. “But I still have to tell you the real reason why I divorced your father.”

“The real reason?” I was confused. “I remember you saying that it was because you didn’t think they protected me well enough, and also because you and Dad didn’t have any feelings for each other anymore.”

I quickly hugged her. “I’m still here. I’m fine.”

She has always been strong. I simply couldn’t imagine how sad and terrified she must have been 15 years ago for her to still be in such a panic after so many years.

The streets outside were quiet, and I was the only one left in the room. An indescribable feeling suddenly hit me, reminding me of the pain I felt before I got out of the taxi, as if I was about to lose someone important.

I put my hand over my heart to comfort myself. This must be an illusion. I must have been too tired recently.

Selina had felt that way 15 years ago, but I am fine now. I feel the same way now, and I’m sure I’d be fine.

I lay down and gradually fell asleep.

But when I woke up, I wasn’t in my own home. I was in a dark room.

There was no one around at all. The cold stone walls exuded a suffocating pressure. There was a window in front and the full moon hung outside the window. Moonlight shone into the room and it made one feel nervous inside.

Where am I? Why am I here?

I got out of bed and instinctively looked for my phone, but I just couldn’t find it. I searched around the house in the eerie moonlight.

“Hello?” I asked. The only response I got was a cold echo.

I walked to the window and looked down. It was a bottomless cliff!

There must be another way out. I turned around, only to fall into a warm embrace.

He wrapped his arms around me and lifted me up, taking a few steps before he dropped me onto the soft bed.

I couldn’t see his face clearly, but I was terrified. “Hello, I need your help… Hey, what are you doing?”

He reached for my shoulder strap, pulling it up. He did it effortlessly, ripping the strap off, and I had a red mark developed on my shoulder.

The left side of the dress came down since the strap was broken, exposing the entire left side of my chest to his view.

He grabbed my chest, rubbing it up and down like he was rubbing a toy.

Even a fool would know what he was up to.

I opened my mouth to shout for help, but he suddenly lowered his head. Just as my voice was about to came out of my throat, he pressed his hot lips against mine.

He was aggressive, ravaging my mouth with his tongue, even touching my throat. I couldn’t close my mouth and was salivating. The saliva ran down the side of my mouth, from my cleavage to my abdomen.

He held my waist with his right hand, and my waist appeared very slender in comparison. After playing with my chest for a while, his left hand reached for my lower body. I kept struggling, but my struggles were just like a kitten scratching an itch to him. It didn’t work at all.

His skin was really tough. I pinched him so hard that I almost broke my nails, but he didn’t seem to have a sense of pain at all. He just continued doing his thing.

My underwear was pulled down, and his palm encompassed my entire private part. My body trembled with fear at what was coming for me.
