Xi Yue raised her eyebrows and said, “Why are you here?”

“You didn’t come back,” Weizhi calmly replied.

Xi Yue couldn’t help but giggle. Just as she was about to speak, a soft voice rang in his ear. “Sorry, Mentor. Just now, Brother Xi was being reckless. I’m apologizing on his behalf.”

Seeing that Xi Yue didn’t respond, Meng Baiya stole another glance at Xi Yue’s charming face, a faint blush spreading across her own. Her voice softened, tinged with a hint of sadness. “I don’t know why my sister used the Infatuation Flower on you, but I don’t think she was trying to seduce you this time. Anyway, she’s been through some difficult things in the past, but she didn’t mean it. I hope you don’t think badly of her.”

Xi Yue quietly watched her flawless performance, his eyes glinting with mockery and disdain.

Meng Baiya’s lips trembled, gritting her teeth as she spat out, “You… you… how can you slander me like this with such baseless accusations?”

Xi Feiyang stepped forward and quickly supported Meng Baiya, whose body was about to collapse. With a fierce tone, he asked, “Who exactly are you? How could someone of your age possibly be a mentor at the Heavenly Medical Valley? Are you pretending?”
