The entire class burst into laughter, their voices brimming with a mix of pride and disdain.

As the laughter echoed through the room, a sudden knock at the door interrupted the moment.

The laughter ceased abruptly, and all eyes turned in unison toward the source of the sound.

It was the same young man who had locked eyes with him through the window outside the Water Medicine Department that day, his smile carrying a hint of wicked charm.

Jun Hongbo’s words snapped the members of Water Medicine Class Three out of their daze. Someone whistled and laughed excitedly, “Why didn’t we hear about a new arrival today? I don’t think I’ve seen you before! Hey, kid, which department did you get kicked out of?”

A girl giggled with a teasing smile and said, “Come over here, handsome. Sit with us–we promise we won’t bite.”

Xi Yue seemed entirely oblivious to their remarks, walking straight to the front of the classroom without hesitation.

At the front stood a rune array that was equipped with basic tools for teaching purposes.

She gently placed her hand on the platform. In an instant, iridescent lights burst forth. A barrier formed swiftly, enveloping the entire classroom.

At the same moment, the previously open doors and windows of the classroom shut themselves automatically.

The scattered desks and chairs began to move on their own, dragging along the stunned students sitting on them, slowly arranging themselves neatly. Meanwhile, the litter and debris carelessly tossed around the floor vanished without a trace in a flash of silvery light.

With an impassive expression, Xi Yue looked down at the wide-eyed crowd staring at her. In a calm voice, she said, “My name is Xi Yue. Starting today, I will be the instructor for Water Medicine Class Three. I look forward to working with you all.”

An eerie silence fell over the entire classroom.
