Chapter 1947: I’m An Instructor

Xi Yue watched as Weizhi’s figure faded into the distance, smiling and shaking her head in amusement.

In the afternoon, Xi Yue and Weizhi made their way to Verdant City. After meeting up with Anling Yao, they quickly set off toward Heavenly Medical Valley.

Anling Yao’s injuries had fully healed, but his mind was heavy with worry, his brows furrowed in concern. “I can’t afford to miss classes at Heavenly Medical Valley without a valid reason. I’ll be expelled if I’m absent for more than three days without leave. Even if the Chen Family is willing to forgive me, there’s no way I’ll be allowed to stay at the valley any longer.”

Anling Yao had always shown a natural talent for medicine and a deep passion for learning it. Now, with the sudden possibility of being forced to leave Heavenly Medical Valley, his heart was weighed down with sadness and disappointment.

Xi Yue calmly remarked, “Don’t worry. You won’t be expelled from Heavenly Medical Valley.”

“There’s no way I won’t be expelled from Heavenly Medical Valley!” Anling Yao said with a gloomy expression. “Unless one of the instructors vouches for me and gets my punishment lifted, I’m finished. But which instructor in the valley would risk offending the Chen Family for my sake? Their background is too powerful.”

Early the next morning, Xi Yue led Anling Yao and Weizhi to the Heavenly Medical Valley Academy.

Anling Yao looked surprised. “Xi Yue, this is the main entrance, and only instructors are allowed through. Even elite students aren’t permitted here. If you want to go to the outer sect, I can take you through the back gate instead.”

Xi Yue grinned, took out a yellow jade pendant, and handed it to the guards.

When the guards saw the jade pendant in Xi Yue’s hand, they immediately showed a shocked expression and stood up straight.

Even more shocked than the guards was Anling Yao. Stammering, he asked, “Th-This is a jade token only given to the instructors of Heavenly Medical Valley. Xi Yue, how do you have one?”

Xi Yue giggled and said, “Because I’m the instructor of Heavenly Medical Valley!”

Among the entire Anling Family, only Anling Yao, who had never returned from Heavenly Medical Valley, was unaware that Xi Yue had been invited by the Wen Family to become an instructor.

Anling Yao opened his mouth wide and was speechless for a long time.

One of the guards took the yellow jade pendant and inspected it for a long time, confirming its authenticity. However, seeing Xi Yue’s age, he still couldn’t quite believe it. In the end, after Xi Yue’s reminder, he hurried inside to report to Wen Jiaquan.

With that, he quickly welcomed Xi Yue inside with a warm and eager smile.

Both the guards and Anling Yao stood frozen in shock. When Anling Yao crossed the doorway, he staggered and almost fell to the ground.

Throughout the entire scene, Weizhi remained impassive, his expression unreadable. It was as if he had concealed his presence entirely, or perhaps exuded an air of aloofness, as though he regarded everything at Heavenly Medical Valley with disdain.

What Xi Yue didn’t know was that the moment she stepped into Heavenly Medical Valley Academy, a man in a dark, embroidered robe, his features obscured and impossible to make out, also crossed into the boundaries of the valley.

Following him was a beautiful woman in red, who attracted many people’s attention.

They were Ji Mingyu and Zhu Que.

Zhu Que looked around and smiled. “Master, your subordinate has learned that Miss Xi Yue has just entered the outer sect of Heavenly Medical Valley. Should we go to her there, or…”
