Chapter 36 Legend

Three days later, it was completely quiet outside.

The barrier had disappeared, which meant that Shadow and the others had already left.

An Er turned into a white crane and hovered above Tongcheng. Bai Yihe had been sitting in the small courtyard the whole time. He closed his eyes to listen, but he could not hear anything except the sound of water.

There was not even a single bird in Tongcheng

The sky was still dark, and the red light had disappeared, leaving only a suffocating dark cloud. The sun seemed to have fallen, and it refused to show its light for a long time.

The white crane hissed in the sky, its mournful cry making one feel cold.

An Er’s face was pale as he landed on the ground. The moment he transformed into his human form, he could not stop vomiting.

A youth dressed in white came out from the main hall. Soft feathers floated on his shoulders, and a scarlet crown hung on his head.

“Immortal An He, the God of Light has been in seclusion for a thousand years. Now that the demon world is in chaos, he cannot continue like this.”

An He chuckled, “The God of Light is the ruler of all things. The heaven has its own will, and the exalted God naturally has his own thoughts. The gods should all disperse.”

He did not say anything else. He lifted his feet and returned to the main hall. The golden doors slowly closed.

“An Er, go buy me a candied haw.” Bai Yihe leaned back on his chair and revealed a confused smile.

An He did not understand why a god who had left the secular world and did not need to eat or drink would always like things from the human world.

He put away the red rope, turned into a beam of light, and lazily dispersed.

After Qu Yao returned to the demon world, she fell into a coma for three days and three nights. Shadow was originally a demon. The evil spirits that surrounded him were of the same origin as him, so fighting was not a problem at all. However, Qu Yao was different. She was originally a human, and only became half-human and half-beast because of the curse. The one fighting against her was also the God of War, Atlas. If she did not have the God and Demon Sword in her hand, there was no way to seriously injure Atlas.

Despite her injuries, Qu Yao became a legend of the three worlds as a result of this battle.
