Su Xiaomo’s tough girl heart turned tender in no time!

 Eyes shining, she copied what she read in girly comics. Throwing her hair over her shoulder, she feigned a shy voice. “I’ll hide them very well~”

 He Jiayu was speechless.

 He forced a smile. “Good.”

 Pressing her hand to her chest, Su Xiaomo chuckled to herself for the better part of the next class.

 It then came to her all of a sudden that what she had hidden away was X-rated comics…

Oh no!

 And she had told He Jiayu in that affected tone that she would hide them well!

 What would He Jiayu think of her?

 Su Xiaomo was petrified.

 During PE class in the afternoon.

 After some warm-up exercises, the teacher let the students play on their own.

 Instead of running around as she usually did, Su Xiaomo leaned on the fence of the basketball court and looked up at the sky, as if she was deep in thought.

 He Jiayu was helping their class sports leader carry some equipment when he walked past her. He looked up at the sky curiously, then looked back down at Su Xiaomo. “What are you doing here?”

 “Pondering my life,” said Su Xiaomo resentfully. “Young man, do you want to join me?”

 He Jiayu smiled gently.

 He put down the badminton racket in his hand and stood there with a hand in his pocket, looking rather dapper.

 A few guys were playing basketball on the court, and one of them lifted the lower hem of his top to wipe away his sweat, revealing his muscular abdomen.

 Su Xiaomo seemed to discover the purpose for life again. Standing on tiptoe, she was practically drooling.

 Maybe because of her experience with drawing since she was little, she was obsessed with people who had nice bodies.

 Somehow, He Jiayu was irritated by her reaction.

 He frowned. “He’s a guy, you shouldn’t be looking at him like that.”

 Su Xiaomo darted him a glance. “I’m thinking about life and pursuing my dream. You’re confined to short-sighted ideas like guys and girls, but what I’m after is art and beauty!”

 He Jiayu was speechless. You’re infatuated, just admit it! Stop making excuses!

 He rubbed Su Xiaomo’s head with a smile. “I’m not buying it. Come, the teacher is calling us to assemble.”

 The PE teacher blew his whistle a short distance away.

 Su Xiaomo took one last look at the teenager on the basketball court and inched back to the teacher reluctantly.

 He Jiayu pursed his lips a little behind her and looked under his own shirt.

 That guy wasn’t the only one with abs! He had them, too!

 Hmph!

 “We’re testing the shot put next class, and we’ll get in some practice today. I need a few guys to fetch the shots from the equipment room. Kang Jian, Sheng Yize, Ou Zhou, Mi Minghui…” The teacher randomly picked a few names from the list when someone jeered, “Brother Mo! Brother Mo!”

 The teacher was confused. “Brother Mo? Is that a guy in your class?”

 “Haha! It is!” a guy said with a grin. “It’s Su Xiaomo!”

 The teacher rolled his eyes. “I know she’s a girl, alright? I’m not blind.”

 “But she’s stronger than any guy! Sir, let her go! She can do a job for two men!”

 Probably amused by that idea, the teacher gestured at Su Xiaomo. “Go ahead, then. I’d like to see your strength as well.”

Su Xiaomo smiled awkwardly, but still followed the other guys as told.

 A figure blocked her way.

 “You’re not going.” He Jiayu’s smile was gentler than a spring breeze. “Are guys in our class so weak that you have to ask a girl to lift things for you?”
