Lydia was sitting at two tables to the right of Marcel’s VIP table. Lydia nodded at Marcel, but he frowned and was very unhappy.

Irene Dunbar first picked up her wine glass to toast Marcel. Marcel waved his hand and said, “I won’t drink tonight.”
