Elysee cursed at herself for expecting something even for a moment. She closed the window.

Of course, Elise fully understood what Blake meant. Blake smashed the bed frame with the power of his grip alone. It would not be possible to hurt him simply because he was so strong.

Blake’s body flinched as Elysee kissed him on the cheek. His arm wrapped around her waist momentarily tightened.

“Take your time getting ready and come down.”

Elysee smiled, pretending she didn’t notice Blake’s apparent erection.

Blake’s body jerked once more and stiffened.

Only after she left the room, almost as if she were on the run, did she stop smiling and let out her sigh full of mixed emotions.
