Chapter 430: Chapter 430: The Difficult Home Tutoring Student

Song Ning had recently taken up a tutoring gig, but the kid was just too rebellious, giving her a real headache.

After only a few lessons, she was visibly becoming irritable.

She often vented to Shen Zhaozhao and others, “If his mom wasn’t paying so well, I would have quit a long time ago.” Apparently knowing how difficult their son was, his parents offered a tutoring fee that was thirty percent higher than the market rate.

Even so, Song Ning didn’t want to continue.

“Is he really that tough?” Shen Zhaozhao asked curiously.

“More than just tough.”

Song Ning’s eyes were nearly rolling to the ceiling, the first time she had ever shown such dislike for someone, “You would know if you met him. The young master’s temper is awful, super rude. I’ve never met a kid more annoying and mean-spirited.”

“I really can’t take this job anymore,” Song Ning thought, growing more agitated.

Shen Zhaozhao: “Didn’t you say his mom pays well?”

Song Ning curled her lip: “I’m afraid I’ll make money but won’t live to spend it, I’ll be dead from frustration sooner or later!”

“Is it really that exaggerated?” Shen Zhaozhao had never seen her complain so much about someone before.

“Not one bit exaggerated. You’d know if you met him. How about this, you take over my classes this week, and keep the earnings.”

“Is that really okay?” She had never tutored anyone before.

“No worries. I’ll inform his mother I can’t make it this week due to a prior engagement and ask a classmate to cover for me. You’re also from Jing University, you’d definitely be able to teach him. Besides, you’re just making an appearance, that boy doesn’t listen at all. I think his mom doesn’t really need to hire a tutor. She might as well save the money and send him abroad. Please, please, consider it saving my life; I really don’t want to see that kid again. I’ll talk to the senior who introduced me to this gig and suggest they find someone else,” Song Ning suddenly proposed.

Seeing her like this, Shen Zhaozhao reluctantly nodded, “Alright, I’ll give it a try.” She was curious to see just how troublesome the kid that Song Ning desperately wanted to avoid could be.

The class was scheduled for Saturday and Sunday morning from nine to eleven o’clock. Shen Zhaozhao left her house before eight, taking the subway, then a bus transfer, enduring an hour’s journey to reach her destination.

Looking at the villa complex in front of her, Shen Zhaozhao double-checked the house number against the address on her phone, then moved forward to knock on the door.

The person who came to the door was presumably the lady of the house, looking very capable and clearly a career-driven woman.

The latter sized her up and said, “You must be Song Ning’s classmate, right?”

“Yes, auntie. My name is Shen Zhaozhao, a sophomore in the Math Department,” Shen Zhaozhao quickly introduced herself.

“Come on in!”

The woman stepped back to let her in, adding, “The boy is quite unruly, so I’m going to need you to take extra care with him. If he doesn’t listen to you, just tell me. I need to rush to the Company, so I’ll leave him in your hands.”

It seemed she was well aware of her son’s behavior.

Shen Zhaozhao: “Don’t worry, I’ll teach him well.”

“He’s inside. Just go straight in,” she pointed to a room on the first floor and said. After speaking, she picked up a bag by the door, ready to leave.

Before she left, she still remembered to instruct the housekeeper to prepare some fruit for the two of them.

Shen Zhaozhao stood at the door and knocked, only to hear a lazy voice from inside saying, “Come in.”
