Chapter 45: Ran Into Each Other At The Auction

She raised her hand to knock twice on the door.

The woman and the dog in the house looked up at the same time.

“…Hello, who are you looking for?”

Gu Shinian stood up, feeling awkward.

She could not be blamed. Qin Yishen exuded a powerful aura. She could not match Qin Muchen.

“Hello.”

Qin Yishen said her greetings gently, “I am Qin Yishen.”

Oh, such a coincidence. She had the surname of Qin as well.

“Qin Muchen’s elder sister.”

True enough, there weren’t that many coincidences.

“Oh, hello.” Gu Shinian felt even more uncomfortable.

So she was Qin Muchen’s elder sister.

She was in her pajamas and she was in Qin Muchen’s bedroom. Everyone would let their imagination run wild at the sight of her.

“My clothes are wet, therefore I changed into pajamas.”

Qin Yishen stared at her, at a loss for words.

How could she sound that sincere even when she came up with such lame excuses.

“My brother’s taste in women is… peculiar.” She muttered softly before she smiled widely, waving her hands. “It’s alright. It’s common for helpers to be involved with the young master. Don’t be ceremonious. You can do anything to my brother.”

Gu Shinian felt exasperated.

Was she his biological sister? Or was she picked up from somewhere else?

Qin Yishen grabbed her, behaving as if they were very close to each other. “Be good, let me bring you somewhere.”

“…W-where?”

Gu Shinian stiffened uncomfortably.

Qin Yishen blinked, acting naughty and bubbly. “There is this person that I couldn’t stand the sight of but I can’t do anything to her, therefore, you must help me to get back at her.”

“…Me?” Gu Shinian widened her eyes, pointing to herself before she shook her head vehemently. “No, I can’t go out.”

Qin Muchen had grounded her.

“I am the one who brought you out. No one can stop me.” Qin Yishen led her outside. “Don’t worry. Just come with me.”

As long as they could make it out the door, they could do anything they wanted.

Gu Shinian felt reassured. “What do you want me to do?”

“Oh, you don’t have to do anything.”

“…Then why do I have to be there?”

“You are there to gross her out.”

But what exactly was she supposed to do?

Gu Shinian felt like running away once she reached the auction venue.

Qin Yishen pulled at her, smiling gently and charmingly at her. “Did you see the woman next to Qin Muchen?”

She saw her.

And she had seen Qin Muchen as well.

Gu Shinian bit her lower lip, stepping back but she was being pulled forward again.

“Sister, no, Miss Qin, I am going back now.” Gu Shinian tried to retract her hands, but Qin Yishen had a tight grip on her. There was no way that she could free her hands.

She felt like crying at her situation.

If she remembered correctly, she and Qin Muchen were still not talking to each other.

It did not seem right to meet under such circumstances.

“You can’t go back.” Qin Yishen was being unreasonable. “If you dare to go back, I will…”

“…What will you do?”

“I will find someone and sell you to that person.”

She was definitely related to Qin Muchen!

Gu Shinian felt like crying.

Why was it that everyone in the Qin family was so unreasonable?

Qin Yishen felt a headache seeing that Gu Shinian was scared stiff by her.
