The little girl hurriedly flopped off the bed and sat up. When her mom was gone, she turned and smiled at Jing Jihan. “Uncle, can I come to sleep with you in the future?”

“Under normal circumstances, it should be impossible.” The man smiled faintly. He raised his hand and tapped the tip of the little girl’s nose before whispering as if to share a secret with her, “When your mother isn’t around next time, and I’m still here, then you’re welcome to sleep.”
