Chapter 775: Chapter 776 Shocking Rod Shadow, Ultimate Blade Glow (3rd update!)

Chaos breeds all things, from Wuji comes Taiji. Though impressed by the blade technique displayed by Ju Lo, Sun Wukong was not shocked. As the third ranked Demon God among the Chaos Demons, lacking genuine skill would indeed be abnormal!

With a thunderous roar, a Heaven-Piercing Great Dao appeared behind Ju Lo, the Chaos Dao itself, similar to the one behind Sun Wukong but even more pure.

Another slightly smaller Dao was the Power of Strength Dao.

With a thought, Sun Wukong manifested four Great Daos behind him, the same four tangible Great Daos he had conjured during his previous battle with Ju Lo.

The aura of the Great Daos diffused, clashing against each other in the void. Even before Sun Wukong and Ju Lo engaged, the collision of their Great Dao powers had begun. Thunderous collisions echoed incessantly between them, sparking flames that made the entire void tremble.

Sun Wukong felt a surge of intense battle will entwining within him and let out a long howl to the skies. Back in the Three Realms, although the stability and reparative capabilities of space had strengthened considerably due to changes in the Heavenly Dao–capable of withstanding collisions of power at the Saint Level–Sun Wukong still did not dare to fully unleash his strength, fearing his complete combat power, which had reached the limits of the Merit Saint, might still harm the Three Realms Space.

Above the Ruyi Golden-Hooped Rod, suddenly appeared a thick rod shadow spanning the starry sky, crashing down on the Chaos Demon Ju Lo with the momentum to collapse the Starry River.

The Chaos Demon Ju Lo also made his move, gripping the Demon Blade in his hands, he spun his body around three times before fiercely slashing it towards Sun Wukong.

The blade light swept across, as if slicing the very Void itself, and Sun Wukong only felt a wave of blade light tearing through the air, as if the heaven and earth were enveloped by this light.

Disregarding the astonishing blow from Wukong heading his way, Chaos Demon Ju Lo unleashed his strongest slash towards Sun Wukong!

Though spoken of slowly, it happened swiftly. In the blink of an eye, the blade light reached him, and Wukong’s staggering rod shadow also reached the front of Chaos Demon Ju Lo.

“Mysterious Heaven Nine Transformations, White Cloud Smoke!”

With a quiet chant from Sun Wukong, he executed the first form of the Mysterious Heaven Nine Transformations, White Cloud Smoke, transforming his entire form into a cloud of smoke.

The enormous blade light struck Wukong, passing right through him, making it look as though Wukong had been sliced in two at the waist, yet it didn’t cause him the slightest harm.

A single slash filled the sky, the blade’s momentum unending, but the duration of White Cloud Smoke was only two breaths, and time was almost up!

Sun Wukong’s brows furrowed slightly, and with a thought, he activated the second form.

“Mysterious Heaven Nine Transformations, Rosy Clouds Drifting!”

Wukong’s misty form solidified once more, and streaks of rosy light emerged around him, pushing the blade light away.

The endless blade light was scattered by the rosy light, violently shooting out in all directions, with a small part offset by the original blade light, while the majority shot off into various parts of the starry sky.

The massive blade light that had spanned the Starry River finally began to dissipate, revealing Sun Wukong’s figure emerging from within, taking a long breath–thankfully he had the protection of White Cloud Smoke and Rosy Clouds Drifting from the Mysterious Heaven Nine Transformations, otherwise, to block such a powerful blade light, he would’ve likely needed to manifest the pillars of his remaining three Great Dao.

On the other side, the staggering rod shadow unleashed by Sun Wukong also began to fade, revealing the figure of Chaos Demon Ju Lo beneath it.

Different from Wukong, Chaos Demon Ju Lo looked quite wretched, with his clothes shattered to pieces, not even a shred left to cover his modesty, and deep gashes bleeding all over his body. His right arm, which had been holding the blade, was now missing from the shoulder down, evidently suffering severe injuries!

Chaos Demon Ju Lo gasped for breath, lifting his head to look in Sun Wukong’s direction, and upon seeing Wukong, his eyes almost popped out of their sockets. The shock nearly drove him mad!
