Qin Nan brought his fists together and said, “I’m sorry. I was pretty far away, and I was busy with something else along the way.”

Xiao Yueqing harrumphed and said, “Forget it, I’m not fussed about it. Let’s head inside. The place on the map somewhere on these mountains.”

The three continued on the way.

“Oh, you mentioned something has kept you busy. What was it?”

Xiao Yueqing finally asked after running out of patience. For some reason, she wanted to know everything about this guy.

“The same group of people from the Li Clan. I taught them a lesson.”

Qin Nan immediately thought of something. He said, “Does any of you have the manual of an eye-technique with you? I’m willing to buy it with Heaven Dao Eight Moons Stones.”

Xiao Yueqing blurted out curiously, “You haven’t learned any eye-technique?”

Ling Xun was stunned too. He asked, “Cultivator Lin, are you a rogue cultivator?”

Every faction during the ancient era would teach their disciples a powerful eye-technique when they achieved the Master Realm.

Xiao Yueqing said as a thought crossed her mind, “You can consider joining our clan too. I can introduce you to my father. He might make you his disciple.”

Qin Nan shook his head and said, “Thanks for the offers, but I’m not thinking of joining any faction for now. I enjoy being alone for now.”

Ling Xun and Xiao Yueqing assumed he had yet to get over his past, thus they did not convince him any further.

“Cultivator Lin, if you want, I do have the manual for the False Discerning Eyes. Feel free to take it. It might not be comparable to the ten great eye-techniques, but it’s pretty impressive too once you mastered it.”

Ling Xun took out a scroll and said with a smile, “Don’t worry about paying for it. Friends are supposed to help one another out.”

Qin Nan hesitated briefly before receiving the scroll. “I owe you one.”

Xiao Yueqing rolled her eyes and said, “Let’s not waste any more time. We should pick up our pace.”

Qin Nan followed the two while comprehending the False Discerning Eyes along the journey.

Time gradually passed. A day later, the three had gone quite deep into the mountains after overcoming various forbidding auras and traps.

Qin Nan had finished comprehending the False Discerning Eyes too.

Qin Nan unleashed his Master Force. His eyes immediately turned faint golden.

A strong power burst out of his eyes. He was able to see through the woods clearly and detected many traps and forbidding auras which he could not see at first.

It took him five days to learn the False Discerning Eyes, but Qin Nan had only used one day to learn it.

Xiao Yueqing’s eyes flickered with astonishment. She further complimented, “You could even match the talents of Xiang Zun from the Shidao Tribe.”

Qin Nan wore a curious look, “Xiang Zun? Is he very talented in Martial Arts too?”

Ling Xun waved his hand and took out an ancient vessel carved with runes out of his storage bag. He said, “It’s something I have found coincidentally. It might be a damaged Dao Weapon, but its defense is very impressive. We can ride it to the bottom of the cliff.”

Qin Nan and Xiao Yueqing nodded. They went aboard and released their Master Force.

The vessel emitted wisps of serene blue lights as it went down the cliff.

The sense of danger grew stronger as they approached the bottom of the cliff. Both Xiao Yueqing and Ling Xun were engulfed in immortal glows. Qin Nan had also activated the Arts of Dao Seeking in his body.

“Something is definitely ahead. Stay behind me!”

Xiao Yueqing transmitted her voice to Qin Nan. She assumed Qin Nan was just someone with insane luck. He was only stronger than ordinary Masters of Dao at most.

“It’s coming!” Ling Xun warned. The fan in his hand started buzzing.

A blinding red light appeared at the bottom of the cliff and surged at their vessel like an unstoppable wave.

“It’s a Blood Swarming Trap! Xiao Yueqing, protect the left side of the vessel. We will be fine if we can withstand three of its attacks,” Ling Xun said.

He spread his fan. Countless words flew out of its ribs and covered the vessel. Meanwhile, Xiao Yueqing slammed her hand on the ground and covered the vessel with strange runes.

A series of explosions took place.

The vessel shook vigorously like it was about to crash any second.

However, they soon withstood three impacts. The vessel left the blinding light and touched down on the ground.

“Both of them are pretty strong,” Qin Nan murmured.
