Mu Shaoqing was in the backseat of his car. His whole attention was fixed on the screen of his laptop as he read through the latest financial statements of Zhou Feng Corporation.

After being completely absorbed in his work for a while, he finally looked at the lines and figures with a contented smile. The result was precisely what he wanted to see.

“Robbery!”

Mu Shaoqing frowned as he heard the voice.

“What’s the matter?”

Tang An, who was seated in front, had a better view of the ongoing action and pursuit. “Master, there seems to be an accident. Someone must have been robbed.”

Mu Shaoqing directed his eyes towards the direction of the voice and spotted someone running by his car in a fretful manner.

With just one look. Mu Shaoqing could already tell who that was.

Is it her again? He remembered her name – Ning Youyou.

It turned out that she was the one who had just been robbed. Judging from her skinny figure, he began wondering if she was able to catch the robber at all.

Mu Shaoqing put away the laptop and said, “Start the car and go after them.”

Tang An reacted immediately and instructed the driver to head in the direction of the robber.

She went straight across the road without looking, only to realize that there was a car coming at her head-on. Luckily the driver was able to stop the car at the very last minute, or she would have been hit.

“Robbery! Help!” Ning Youyou gasped for breath. She raised her voice in hopes of getting some help from a passerby, but no one offered to help. They only surrounded her and watched as if it was simply a game of tag.

Just when she was about to give up, a black Rolls Royce showed up on the spur of the moment. It was obviously traveling in the direction of the robber.

The robber had not expected that there was a vehicle going after him, which took him by surprise when it knocked him down. 

The car finally came to a stop, as soon as the robber plunged forward and tumbled onto the pavement. Miserably, the man struggled to flee.

“Damn it!”

He glanced at the car before he tried to run away, but it was too late.

Mu Shaoqing got out of his car and struck the man with a heavy blow to stop him from fleeing.

The robber grunted as the punch hit him hard in his vitals. In disorderly haste, he let go of the phone in his hand and let it hit the ground.

He surely had not expected that he would encounter someone so ferocious and tough. Still confused, he could not care less about the phone anymore and struggled to run away, but his attempt to flee had failed miserably. Someone was already standing in his way.

Mu Shaoqing cast a sternly cool glance at the man who was still trying to escape. Swiftly, he pulled him by the collar and dragged him all the way back. All it took was a twist in his arm before he began howling horribly in pain.

“Help! Help! It’s broken!”

Mu Shaoqing let go of his arm and watched as the man rolled across the ground screaming in agony. There was no way he could run away.

Briskly, Mu Shaoqing stepped forward to pick up the phone and took no notice of the man and his misery. It was a shame that the screen was already cracked.
