“I know about you.” The lady smiled. “Right, by way of self-introduction, I’m Xin Xinyu, Jingyao’s fiancée.”

Su Zhixi’s eyes widened in her shock. As her right hand slackened, that exquisite gift bag fell to the ground.

“He…” Xia Xinyu chuckled. “Don’t be scared, I’m not here to settle old scores with you. How could a woman resist a man like Jingyao?”

Su Zhixi’s head was buzzing as she clenched her fists. Dipping her head, she said, “Ms. Xia, I’m sorry. I didn’t know that…”

“You don’t have to apologize to me.” Xia Xinyu sighed faintly. “Don’t worry, I don’t object to you guys dating. Even if Jingyao and I get married in the future, you don’t have to be bothered about me.”

Su Zhixi stared in disbelief at her.

“It’s a typical marriage alliance between us, and although I really like him, he is not interested in me at all…” Xia Xinyu smiled bitterly. “I looked for you just to see what kind of girl he likes.
