She entered the emergency room without waiting for Lu Wanwan to say anything else.

Just then, Lu Wanwan’s phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number.

“Hello?”

“It’s me.” Bai Lingyun’s voice came through the phone, his usually unhurried tone for the first time sounded urgent, “Where is he?”
