- Chapter 609 - 383 thunderhawk's secret mission (2nd update)
(The third part is estimated to be published after 1:00 AM)
When they saw the Extreme Special Soldier stomp down violently, and heard the crash from Donatello’s hands.
Gaoling Ze and the staff behind him from the Lan Du Military Group all felt the hair on their bodies stand on end; the almost man-eating aura from Donatello was simply too terrifying.
Right now, absolutely no one dared to speak up voluntarily–who would foolishly throw themselves into the line of fire?
However, this was only their own thoughts; for the reporters, this was the perfect news.
They certainly heard that loud crash of the shattered glass, so they were even more eager to rush over and question the feelings of the person involved.
“Mecha and Mechanical Masters of Lan Du Military Group have perished, how does Mr. Tang feel about this now?”
No, this question was far too harsh…
But such harshness could indeed provoke the emotions of those being interviewed!
A hint of greed shone in the eyes of the group of media personnel.
Some feared Donatello, but there were always some who did not.
Thus, these reporters suddenly surged forward.
“Mr. Tang!”
“Your Mecha has already…”
“I would like to interview Mr. Donatello…”
In this moment, the security personnel of Lan Du Military Group displayed their excellent quality as they immediately blocked these reporters who were desperately trying to advance.
A few reporters were caught off guard and were knocked to the ground by these strong bodyguards.
Donatello still did not turn around, his right hand still tightly clutching the glass shards.
Fresh red blood began to drip down from his palm.
Drip, drip.
Someone nearby grabbed a handkerchief and wanted to rush over, but at this moment Donatello’s left hand suddenly lifted.
The clamor halted in an instant, and everyone watched the figure raising his left hand.
A gloomy yet calm voice came from ahead:
“Tang needs to convene an internal company meeting, we will have to ask our media friends to reschedule.”
As the voice fell, those security personnel who had been passively obstructing them straightened up the pushing reporters and then forcibly took them away.
Only then did those fervent reporters realize that this man was an heir of one of the seven major families of Lan Du.
Although reluctantly, they could only walk away helplessly.
When the media had completely left, Gaoling Ze and others finally saw Donatello turn his fierce face around.
“From now on, I want… him dead! Ah!!”
His right hand suddenly swung, and his blood-dripped palm finally spread open.
Donatello’s furious roar echoed within the protective shield.
He would never forget that deliberate glance the other party gave him.
Cold, lifeless; he knew they were just electronic eyes.
But he knew more that beyond those electronic eyes, there were a pair of real eyes.
In those indifferent eyes was definitely mockery.
…
“Great! Truly worthy of being my disciple!”
Inside the Mecha special training room, Ruan Xiongfei suddenly slapped his thigh, his face full of excitement.
After shouting, this bald man realized that it was dead silent behind him, and then he grinned at the young instructors behind him who were too scared to speak.
“Not thrilling, huh?” The last word came from the nostrils of a grizzled soldier.
“Thrilling!”
“Truly worthy of being Instructor Ruan’s disciple, such a violent style is identical.”
“A master produces a capable disciple.”
“Yes, the same flair as Instructor Ruan back in the days.”
The group of young instructors shivered, and then they nodded desperately, offering all sorts of flattering words for free.
“Hahaha! You guys know nothing about my glory days. But these words really cheer me up; alright, you guys can go now. Today’s meeting is canceled, I need to prepare for a mission.”
Ruan Xiongfei stroked his bald head and burst into laughter; these young people might be mediocre in their capabilities, but they sure were skilled in talking.
The bald man found their flattery quite satisfying.
Upon hearing Ruan Xiongfei’s words, the group of young instructors fled the room as if they had been granted amnesty.
Being around this humanoid monster was simply too stressful, not to mention his unpredictable temperament and freakishly strong abilities.
Besides, the principal always protected him, which was downright unreasonable.
Forget it, just consider it as coming to watch a video with the old veterans.
But speaking of which, was the Mechanical Master of that Mecha really Bald Ruan’s direct disciple?
Wait a second…
Could it be this year’s freshman?
The group of young instructors exchanged glances, only realizing this without Ruan Xiongfei around.
Their eyes filled with horror.
They had just been preoccupied with resisting the pressure from that bald man, but now thinking it back… it was terrifying!
When Ruan Xiongfei was finally alone in the training room, he leaned back onto the couch.
He picked up his Sky Communication, dialed a number, his eyes still fixed on the black Mecha on the screen.
“I’m Ruan Xiongfei. I’ll come over tomorrow, but I’m just bringing Thunderhawk to watch. Also, remember, if my disciple is in danger, I don’t care about any rules of the Mecha Association, I will definitely take action.”
The Sky Communication seemed to be muttering timidly at the other end.
Frustrated, Ruan Xiongfei then lifted the Sky Communication and spoke directly into the microphone, “Alright, stop dithering like a woman, that’s it.”
He casually hung up the Sky Communication and tossed it aside.
Ruan Xiongfei clasped his hands behind his head, his shiny bald head gleaming under the light.
Recalling the request from the military high command last night, they feared incidents during the Mecha Martial Arts Tournament starting with the throne battle, needing extremely strong Mechas to cooperate with the military warships to maintain order.
Of course, this maintenance wasn’t only aimed at the unknown possibilities, it was more about cautioning the Mecha Association.
“That such an insignificant condition is still being haggled over, the military forces of these Peace Planets are really getting weaker. They’re on their own turf and as timid as a damn egg,” he muttered to himself with derision.
“Hehe, but hey, lucky disciple, your cheap teacher is coming to support you in the fight, just be at ease in the next battle, hahaha!”
Talking to himself, Ruan Xiongfei once again chuckled smugly.
No helping it, since Mu Fan was his disciple!
…
As for Mu Fan’s few friends, they were all overly excited at the moment.
Especially the fat one, his face was red, his expression like he’d been climaxing continuously for half a day, he was almost breathless from the thrill.
His mouth was open, but he couldn’t shout a word, only able to express his inner excitement and shock by smacking the armrests with his hands.
However, just then, a guy of similar build beside the fatty, wearing round small sunglasses, suddenly smashed his popcorn down on the seat.
“Holy shit, this is insane, is this even necessary?”
The excited yell, accompanied by the popping popcorn, turned Harry the fatty’s head around in confusion.
“Bro, what do you mean by that? I didn’t get it…”
“Illiteracy is scary, go search it on the Light Computer yourself,” the sunglass-wearing fatty said disdainfully.
When White Hair noticed and turned back, he even saw the excited tears in the fatty’s eyes.
Dammit, Fat Brother was being scorned as an illiterate.
Sigh…
White Hair patted the fatty’s shoulder; he understood the words but couldn’t explain them.
Sigh, being an innocent person is really difficult.
The fatty, seeing White Hair’s constipated-like guilt, then turned to comfort White Hair.
Only Xiaoxi, who had been watching this scene silently, was still pondering what exactly ‘geoduck’ meant.
It was undeniable, the Extreme Special Soldier had left an extremely deep impression since the beginning of the competition.
No one could imagine that a Mecha, recognized only as Grade A, would continuously defeat its opponents in various exaggerated and violent manners.
Not just defeat, but annihilate its opponents!
From the beginning of the battle until now…
That Mecha had not left a single survivor.
As they watched that Mecha deliberately smash its opponent, revealing the black Mecha, a chill rose in the hearts of all the spectators.
This Mecha had just slaughtered its way into the throne battle.
Tomorrow, what kind of visual feast would this Mecha bring them?
