Chapter 59: Menstrual Cramps

Bai Chuwei’s medical abilities were already widespread in the school and she was being praised to an unbelievable extent.

As she had cured Teacher Zhou, there were some who said that she was well versed in medical skills. However, the students led by Bai Yinyin sneered at the news and claimed it to be absolute rubbish.

Even so, Su Ruan firmly believed that Student Bai Chuwei was a miracle doctor. Deng Manli and her gang were usually extremely high-profile in class but they had been rather obedient these days. Moreover, they never said a word against Bai Chuwei.

Su Ruan looked at Bai Chuwei in admiration. She had not mentioned anything and Bai Chuwei already knew!

Before Su Ruan had the chance to speak, a sarcastic laughter could be heard. “It was a fluke that you said Teacher Zhou is sick. Do you honestly believe you are a miracle doctor? Do you think medicine is that easy to know and understand? It requires at least a decade to become a doctor!”

Gao Qiaoqiao walked over with an unfriendly look.

Perhaps it was due to mutual repulsion of the same gender, there were many female students who harbored hostile feelings towards Bai Chuwei ever since she had transferred over. The class belle, Gao Qiaoqiao, was no different.

Majority of the male students’ eyes had been diverted towards Bai Chuwei. One of the guys whom she was playing with recently, had been rather passive towards her. Instead, he secretly bought water for Bai Chuwei!

Bai Chuwei shot a sideways glance and said, “If you have the spare time to talk to me, I’d advise you to do an orthopedic check up.”

Gao Qiaoqiao’s expression changed and she subconsciously touched her left shoulder.

Su Ruan became even more excited and pulled a chair to sit in front of Bai Chuwei.

Before she said anything, Bai Chuwei smiled. “You have severe menstrual cramps, am I right?”

All the surrounding female students were in a state of commotion. Their eyes looked shocked as they began to whisper back and forth amongst each other.

Gao Qiaoqiao sneered. “So what? Majority of the girls here have that problem. How can that be counted as part of medical skills? If that’s the case, I am capable of saying that too!”

The surrounding female students echoed in agreement. “That’s right. Su Ruan fainted during the previous exam and was carried out.”

In Class 11, Su Ruan’s grades were on par with Tong Qingyan. However, Su Ruan fainted in the previous exam, and was marked as absent. As a result, Tong Qingyan had successfully taken the first position in Class 11.

Most of the people in their year knew about this incident.

Bai Chuwei was too lazy to respond to Gao Qiaoqiao and she looked at Su Ruan with a smile. “But your symptoms are generally more severe than other girls. There’s not much relief even if you eat medicine for regulating your menstrual cramps.”

Su Ruan’s gaze had moved from admiration to worship now, and her small head nodded like a baby chick pecking on rice grains. “That’s right!”

Bai Chuwei’s fingers gently pressed on her wrist and she felt her pulse. “Severe menstrual cramps can lead to infertility. Even if you do get pregnant in the future, it would be an ectopic pregnancy.”

Su Ruan’s complexion paled. She was only afraid that she would suffer from menstrual cramps during the college entrance examination. She did not expect it to be so severe!

“Then, then what should I do?” Su Ruan was only an eighteen year old. The moment she heard that she might be infertile, she panicked.

Duan Xingye, who had been surrounded by the girls, found it awkward to hear them discuss their menstrual problems. Just as he was hesitating if he should go out of the classroom to continue with his memorizing, he suddenly saw Bai Chuwei’s lips curl up and reveal a smile. It seemed as if a big gray wolf was about to devour a little lamb.

Duan Xingye shivered and felt that Bai Chuwei was about to stir things up again.

Bai Chuwei looked at Su Ruan with a smile and asked her. “I heard that your grades are pretty good?”

Su Ruan was confused and she foolishly nodded. “It’s… It’s not bad. I’m ranked in the top ten in the grade.”

Bai Chuwei clapped her hands in satisfaction and said with a smile, “I’ll treat your problem in exchange that you write my homework daily.”
