Chapter 27: Causing Trouble

The fat man had drunk too much, so he lost his balance and was kicked to the ground.
“F*ck you! How dare you touch my people!?” Marion vented his anger and kicked him a few more times, causing the fat man to scream.
The fat middle-aged man got up, pointed at him, and shouted, “You… You… You dare to hit me? If you have the guts, tell me your name. I’ll kill you!”
Marion raised his chin and said arrogantly and disdainfully, “Your daddy’s name is Marion. I’m in B3 High Hall. Come and kill me if you can!”
With that, Marion spat viciously at the fat man and pulled Cathy back into the booth.

Joel was furious. “Why did you let him get away? How are you, Cathy? Do you want me to bring some men and teach him a lesson?”
Several female companions surrounded Cathy. She was so embarrassed that she wished she could find a hole and crawl into it.
Moreover, she had yet to recover from her earlier distress.
“It’s better to be cautious. This is not our territory, after all. It won’t be good if we accidentally provoked someone important,” said Marcus.
Their headquarters was in the east. This place was an intersection between the east and west and was mainly controlled and managed by another group of people. If they got into trouble here, it would take time for them to send people over. This period spent waiting would be enough for them to suffer.

In contrast, Beth and Nina were just side figures at the party.
