Chapter 38: Clash

“I’ll kill you, you little b*tch!” The fat girl was furious and raised her hand to slap Xia Tian.

When Qu Ling’er saw how unreasonable the fat girl was—she swiftly stood up—grabbed Xia Tian’s wrist and pulled her behind herself. Her other hand grabbed the fat girl’s wrist and stopped the slap in midair!

The fat girl wanted to retract her hand, but she realized that she could not move at all. She was a strong girl, but Qu Ling’er was obviously stronger!

“Let go of me!” The fat girl kept struggling, her face flushed red.

Only then did Qu Ling’er let go of her. She was tall to begin with, so she looked at Qu Xinru as if she was looking down at her. “If you have too much money to spend and want to compensate for this shop, I can help you. After all, whether it’s smashing the shop or beating people up, I’m good at it!”

She looked at the short-haired girl and said coldly, “Who are you? Who are you to meddle in other people’s business?”

The short-haired girl was displeased. “Did I say something wrong? Are you feeling guilty? Hmph, can you explain your relationship with Bao Qi? You hooked up with Bao Qi while double-dipping with a sugar daddy. How shameless! I should get Bao Qi to come and take a look at your sluttiness. Vixen…”

Before she could finish, Qu Ling’er had slapped her face. It was a hard slap and stunned the girl.

The force of slap turned the short-haired girl’s head to the side and she remained stunned for a long time. She glared at Qu Ling’er and said, “How dare you hit me?”

Qu Ling’er gave a cold-eyed glare. So what if she hit her?

“I’ll kill you!” The short-haired girl pounced on Qu Ling’er, wanting to hit her.

Qu Ling’er pushed Xia TIan to the side and dodged the girl—who missed.

The fat girl then came over to help. The two of them attacked Qu Ling’er.

Xia Tian also wanted to help, but Qu Ling’er said to her, “Don’t come over; stay far away. Don’t get hurt by accident.”

Xia Tian then watched as the two girls pounced on Qu Ling’er and scratched wildly… However, it was not Qu Ling’er who screamed—it was the two of them. Qu Ling’er’s clothes were pulled at and in disarray; but she was not hurt at all. It was the two girls who had scratches all over their bodies and faces—either caused by themselves or the other one.

Qu Xinru looked on anxiously and gritted her teeth. “Stop, stop fighting!”

Seeing that no one was listening to her, she went forward to pull the fat girl away—but she was pushed by the fat girl instead—and almost fell to the ground. She was furious, but there was nothing she could do.

In the end, it was the shop manager who shouted, “Stop fighting. If you continue fighting, I’ll call the police!”

Hearing the police, the two girls stopped. They looked at each other—then at Qu Ling’er—and realized that they were the only ones hurt after fighting for a long time!

Qu Xinru’s face was thunderous as she scolded in a low voice, “Two idiots!” She was about to explode from anger!

“Xinru, we… we’re trying to help you…” The fat girl said aggrievedly.

Qu Ling’er coolly tidied her clothes and asked, “Are we still going to fight?”

Qu Xinru’s face darkened and she barked, “Qu Ling’er, don’t be too happy yet. You will cry when your sugar daddy abandons you!”

Qu Ling’er could not be bothered with Qu Xinru. She looked at Xia Tian and checked out the dress she tried on. “This is different from the previous one. The previous one has a softer look.”

Xia Tian lowered her head—took a look—and nodded in agreement. “I think so too. This one has a nicer cutting.”

Jiang Wei and Li Meng had already come out of the fitting room and witnessed the entire episode from the side. Their impression of Qu Ling’er instantly changed—they did not expect her to be so good at fighting!

“Are you all done picking your clothes?” Xia Tian asked.

Jiang Wei shook her head. “The clothes in this shop don’t suit us. Let’s go to another shop.”

As Jiang Wei spoke, she pulled Li Meng back to the fitting room to change back into her own clothes.

“I’ll go change too,” Xia Tian said as she went to the fitting room.

When Qu Xinru saw that Qu Ling’er was ignoring her, her anger grew. The more she thought about it, the more frustrated she became.
