The next day.

 Tang Xinyan woke up with an excruciating pain in her head.

 She reached up and touched her forehead. It was wrapped with a layer of bandages.

 She got up and sat on the bed. She realized that there was someone else in the room. She turned her head and saw a figure standing by the window.

 The golden sunlight shone through the window and outlined the man’s tall and handsome figure.

 The man noticed that she was awake. He turned around and looked in her direction with his brown eyes.

 “Fu Sichen?” Tang Xinyan recalled what happened last night. She furrowed her eyebrows as she felt that her head was about to explode. “Was it you who took me out of the station?”

 Last night, Fu Sichen went back and questioned all of the help one by one. Finally, there was one who stood up and told the truth.

 The staircase was indeed oiled by someone but the help did not do it, it was Fu Sijing.

 Once he found out the truth, Fu Sichen rushed to the police station immediately but the chief officer told him that Tang Xinyan was taken away by a man with the surname ‘Mo’.

 He checked the surveillance cameras and found out that Tang Xinyan was brought to the hospital. He then hurried there.

 However, when he arrived, he could not find any traces of the man in the ward.

 Fu Sichen had no idea who the man with the surname ‘Mo” was, he could even take Tang Xinyan out of the station with ease. It was not pleasant for him to know that Tang Xinyan was saved by another man.

 Without hesitation, he replied immediately, “Don’t you want me to be the one who saved you?”

 Tang Xinyan could sense the anger in his voice.

 She pursed her pale lips and said with a hoarse voice, “Did you find out the truth?”

 Fu Sichen replied ‘hmm’ with a gravelly voice. “One of the help accidentally spilt some oil on the staircase.” He did not tell her the truth because the relationship between her and Fu Sijing was already tense and he did not want to bring chaos to the family.

 Tang Xinyan lowered her thick and long eyelashes. She had some doubts as every person who served the Fu family had been professionally trained. How was it possible for them to accidentally spill oil on the staircase?

 “I’m transferring you to another hospital. Since you’re awake, let’s go!”

 The Fu family owned a hospital but both Tang Yurou and He Meijuan were there at that moment. Tang Xinyan did not want to go there. She rejected him softly, “I’m feeling better now. I can just go home!”

 Fu Sichen did not force Tang Xinyan. He drove her back to Coral Garden.

 On their way home, Tang Xinyan did not take the initiative to talk to him.

 Although he saved her once at such a critical moment last night, it was not enough to make up for what he did to her.

 When her father-in-law comes back, she would still bring up the divorce.

 All of a sudden, the handsome and indifferent man appeared in her head.

 If she could not have her divorce, was accepting his proposal the only choice she had?

 Tang Xinyan bit her lips, her head was all jumbled up.

 Fu Sichen looked at Tang Xinyan who seemed to have something on her mind. He broke the silence with his dark and intricate eyes. “Do you really need to return to the entertainment circle?”

 Tang Xinyan did not look at Fu Sichen. She looked outside the car window with her eyes which had a clear distinction between black and white. “I have already signed the contract with Director Hou. Do you think I will breach the contract?”

 Fu Sichen increased the strength of his grip on the steering wheel until his veins were popping out. “Tang Xinyan, you’re not a young lady anymore. You are already married!”

 Tang Xinyan taunted him with her lips curved, “Are there rules saying that only young ladies can join the entertainment circle? Also, how long will our marriage last?”

 Fu Sichen’s face tensed up. “Tang Xinyan, are you so desperate to get a divorce?”

 “I’m not Mother Mary. You set me up and hooked up with Tang Yurou. Do I still need to love you with all my heart?” Tang Xinyan closed her eyes and remembered the wonderful moments they had back in the past. Her nose turned sour. “Fu Sichen, from the moment you chose to not believe in me, you have already given up on me and our relationship!”
