Olivia Lewis finally eased up, took a deep breath, and relaxed completely, “Alright! We will see Gigi’s performance later!”

“What have you two been plotting behind my back?” Enna Clark didn’t understand a word, but it was obvious that Olivia Lewis and Bobby had planned something in secret to do later.

“It’s nothing, you’ll find out soon.” Olivia Lewis didn’t give her a chance to speak and pushed her towards the cafe across the street, “Don’t worry, I would never let my darling Bobby do anything like murder or arson. It’s just a small favor from Baby and Gigi for me.”

The cafe chosen by Adam Sinclair’s mom was clearly a high-end establishment.

Its decor was of the style that appealed to well-to-do ladies.

As soon as they walked in, a waiter greeted them, “Welcome, a table for four? We will arrange a seat for you right away.”

“We have a reservation.”

The waiter immediately realized and said, “I know, please follow me.”

With that, he led them to a window seat.

Unlike other cafes that are entirely public spaces, each seating area in this cafe was separated by ornately carved screens, creating relatively private spaces.

Shortly, the waiter brought them to a table further inside and stopped, “Here you are.”

Enna Clark immediately noticed the elegantly poised lady sitting on the sofa with a bodyguard-like figure standing beside her.

The lady, holding a coffee cup in her left hand, took a sip, then set it down and glanced at Olivia Lewis and Enna Clark with a hint of scorn on her face, then spoke, “You’ve arrived? I thought you’d be another twenty minutes late, but you’re only fifteen minutes behind.”

Olivia Lewis, as if oblivious to the other’s mocking tone, led the way and sat down with her bag.

Bobby followed, sitting down next to Gigi, while Enna Clark chose the outermost seat.

The lady did not expect her to bring a child along and was caught off guard, arching her delicate brows, but as if it was not worth the effort to question, she ignored them and went straight to the point, “I hear you haven’t left my son yet?”

She cut to the chase, offering no pleasantries.

Moreover, both her manner of speaking and her tone felt very uncomfortable.

“Ms. Lewis, I thought I had made myself clear enough on set last time. This time Adam covered up the news for you, but don’t assume he can sort things out for you every time. I’m only giving him face this time and giving you some leeway to think things through.”

Sitting in between them, Bobby noticed their subtle interaction and, judging that the timing was nearly ripe, he gently tugged on the hand of the little girl who was staring stupidly at the opposite lady, prompting the girl who then seemed to remember something important and suddenly called out in a milky voice, “Mummy~”
