When she heard Anna’s words, Laurie’s face clouded over.

Initially, she thought that she and Jose could live in peace and that it would be fine if Jose made her a servant. However, she did not expect this man to be so despicable. In order to please his current girlfriend, he would push all the blame on her.

Jose glared at Laurie and was about to say something when he heard a knock on the door.

He cleared his throat. “Please come in.”

Beebo walked in with a pile of documents. He also felt that the atmosphere in the room was a little strange.

“Manager, this is the department employee file you asked for.”
