Chen Lun pondered for a moment.

“The likelihood of Her Majesty, the Silver Dragon Witch Blaze, being a Descendant of Light is not high, for she belongs to the Constellation Faction and is not a converted Saint… The reason she possesses the brand of the black sun is very likely because of her husband. In the end, Chen Lun inquired with Queen Caplan about some information concerning the “Dragon of Light” and the “Giant King.”

“These are two Ancient Gods born in the earliest of eras, who, being two of the most powerful entities at the time, received the worship and faith of many civilizations and creatures… Regrettably, by the time of The Fourth Era, both Ancient Gods had perished.”

Queen Caplan explained calmly.

“The Dragon of Light died in the ‘War of the Sun God,’ but the specifics of the event and the subsequent details are unknown to all. Descriptions of the Dragon have been reduced to a mere few strokes in the annals of history… As for the Giant King, rumors suggest his death involved several True Gods, and his ties to the Land of Matthaios were profound, for upon his fall, his blood transformed into the ‘Dark River’, the source nurturing us, the Descendants of Darkness… Yet the remainder of his body vanished without a trace, supposedly giving rise to a new god.”

Chen Lun was quite astonished to hear such hidden history.

“So the Dark River of the Land of Matthaios was formed from the blood of the Giant King–no wonder it has the ability to create life… Considering such authority and characteristics, it bears a striking resemblance to the Flesh Faction…”

He couldn’t help but think of the marvels he had seen deep within the Sea of Blood in Immortal Realm, symbolizing the Flesh Pathway…

“Could it be… that Lady Rose was born from the remains of the Giant King?”

Chen Lun speculated boldly.

A moment later.

“It has been an honor to converse with you, Your Majesty… and I also thank you for resolving my doubts.”

Seeing that their discussion had come to a close, Chen Lun stood up and bowed.

He took out the wooden box he had brought in and presented it with both hands.

“I heard you have a sweet tooth, so Lady Orianna asked me to offer some ‘Plum Berries’; I hope you like them.”

Queen Caplan shook her head slightly upon seeing this.

“There’s no need for formalities. I have also gained the information I wished to know from you… Leave the box, and thank you for your thoughtfulness.”

Chen Lun gently placed the wooden box on the table and after a moment’s thought, took out some milk candy from the Blood Poem Ring.

These were small snacks purchased by Connie, which he usually grabbed a handful of before heading out to occasionally indulge in a “milk craving,” never expecting them to be of great use now.

“What is this?”

Queen Caplan appeared curious.

She examined the shiny, ball-shaped candy with her pale fingers and inquired, looking at it closely.

Thanks to the thriving commerce of the Royal City, candy companies were intensely competitive–taking great effort in packaging. The various colors of foil paper wrapping the candy caught Queen Caplan’s attention.
