Chapter 31 Su Nian’s Sneer

Su Anan suddenly clenched her fists, not because her father had changed to pampering his other daughter after she was married, but because of the plum flower hairpin in Su Nian’s hair.

That was the dowry her mother had left for her.

Unfortunately, Su Sheng thought that Shen Juncheng was incompetent and embezzled a lot of money.

This time, she had come to think about whether she could get it back, but she had never thought that her father would reward it to another daughter so quickly.

Su Anan suddenly felt like laughing.

“Big sister, you’re back.” Su Nian trotted forward and held Su Anan’s arm affectionately. Then she asked, “Didn’t my brother-in-law come back with you?”

She looked to the left and then sighed. “Why is it just you at home? Brother-in-law doesn’t care about you at all.”

Su Sheng looked at the two servant girls behind Su Anan. They didn’t bring any gifts and didn’t say anything.

Anyway, Shen villa was probably not rich. He heard that on the day of their wedding, Shen Juncheng’s old illness had acted up continuously, so he had no energy to accompany An’an home. So, he said calmly, “You’re back.”

“Have a seat.” He then instructed the maidservants to make tea.

Su Anan pursed her lips and stood in place, looking straight at Su Sheng.

She didn’t believe that Shen Juncheng didn’t spread the news of her being poisoned on their wedding night. However, her father didn’t even ask her about her health.

She sighed in her heart. This father-daughter relationship was really cold. She had only been married for three days.

Su Nian saw that Su Anan kept staring at her father, and her father was already unhappy. A flash of smugness appeared in her eyes. Suddenly, she had an idea and immediately went forward to say deliberately, “Elder sister, father asked you to sit, why are you staring at father with such hatred?”
