The team was still moving forward quickly.

This was Bai Youwei’s first time seeing monsters inside an instance.

—-They were like cockroaches walking upright or lizards, slimy, skinny, with abnormally large heads and two rows of saw-toothed teeth spitting out a thick, dark purple tongue. Their carapaces were a dark bluish-black, dripping with a wet, viscous mucus, utterly disgusting.

However, after witnessing a plethora of monsters in the doll game, she could just about stomach such creatures.

Not wanting to alarm the swarm of creatures inside the building, Shen Mo, Natasha, and Ada refrained from using guns and instead engaged in close combat with daggers and short knives.

Yuri took Bai Youwei to a concealed spot behind half-collapsed building, mounted a silencer, and provided sniper support from the side.

Their coordination was seamless.

Shen Mo, Natasha, and Ada would always intentionally maintain a distance from the creatures to create opportunities for Yuri’s sniping.

Yuri retracted his last shot and glanced at the time before speaking into his headset: “30 seconds until the next wave of creatures. Get inside the parking garage.”

Shen Mo and Ada scouted ahead into the parking garage, while Natasha waited at the entrance to receive Yuri and Bai Youwei.

“Put on the night vision goggles,” Natasha handed Bai Youwei a pair, “Stay close, it’s very dark down there.”

By the time they descended, Shen Mo and Ada had already cleared out three small creatures, the ground covered in a thick fluid, like tar with a stingingly pungent smell.

“Just like last time, there are only seven or eight down here,” said Shen Mo, “and they’re all spaced far enough apart that they’re no threat.”

“Good, we stick to the plan,” Yuri nodded.

Bai Youwei covered her nose and mouth, quietly following behind them.

Ada and Natasha collected gasoline from cars one by one, while Shen Mo and Yuri stood guard for possible Alien creatures lurking around.

The atmosphere was extremely tense, but with their teamwork, the operation proceeded very swiftly.

Before long, they had amassed three large barrels of gasoline. But feeling that wasn’t enough, they continued to gather more.

Each time they attracted monsters’ attention, Shen Mo and Yuri easily dealt with them. The spread of creatures in the underground garage was sparse and there were plenty of hiding spots, making guerilla fighting very convenient.

Bai Youwei did not feel any immediate danger.

“If we need gasoline, why didn’t we buy it before entering the instance?” she quietly asked Shen Mo.

Shen Mo replied: “In the instance, ammunition depletes very quickly, so we save backpack space for weapons and ammo.”

Bai Youwei thought for a moment and said, “How about…I carry the gasoline in my backpack? It looks heavy for you guys.”

Everyone paused for a moment.

Ada promptly slapped her forehead, “Right! How could we forget about Weiwei’s backpack? We’re used to just the four of us, so we got into the habit of only considering four backpacks, but now we’re a five-person team!”

Shen Mo asked, “How many slots does your backpack have?”

Bai Youwei: “Level three, 12 slots.”

Everyone inhaled sharply.

Even Shen Mo was surprised: “…Level three, with 12 slots?”

“Yeah,” Bai Youwei glanced at them, somewhat puzzled, “Isn’t that what you all have?”

Ada felt like crying: “The same level three, only 6 slots…”
