Chapter 800: Chapter 677 Lynn: Make a choice–will you submit, or face the destruction of civilization!
Just as the guards in the conference hall were about to make a move, an indescribable fear suddenly arose in the hearts of all the geometric beings.
It was like a deer roaming through the forest being stared down by a fierce tiger, every cell in their bodies seemed to tremble!
A massive amount of Magic Power gathered in the center of the conference hall amidst cries of terror and gradually took shape.
Soon, a figure that felt immensely familiar to them appeared before everyone’s eyes.
The Supreme Leader immediately recognized that it was none other than the Magic Empire’s interstellar governor, Lynn!
“Good afternoon, everyone!” Lynn, adorned in a golden and red robe, greeted them calmly, showing no sign of panic from being exposed, as if he was there for a friendly meeting.
On the other hand, it was the complete opposite. At the sight of Lynn, the Supreme Leader activated all the defenses, containment nets, cluster beams, and miniature Antimatter Cannons all aimed at the center of the conference hall, firmly confining him there!
“Please refrain from any futile resistance, Your Excellency, Governor of the Magic Empire! Otherwise, I will arrest you on charges of invasion!” Out of fear of the power the Magic Empire had shown, the Supreme Leader, despite his immense anger, remained restrained, but the other disc leaders were not so composed, and various criticisms and curses resounded continuously throughout the conference hall.
They did not know how the other party invaded this High-dimensional Space, but one thing was certain, what Yita said was true, and the Magic Empire’s choice to trade Magic Power was a complete conspiracy!
Amidst all the accusations and curses, Lynn made no move, seemingly following the advice and completely giving up resistance. Only then did the Supreme Leader relax slightly, questioning once again.
“Tell me, what exactly is the Magic Empire trying to do?”
“It’s for the peace and development of the geometric civilization, of course!” Lynn explained with a smile.
“Tampering with the terms of trade? Is that what you call peace?” the Supreme Leader reprimanded sternly.
“You’re provoking war!” a disc leader glared angrily at Lynn, speaking hysterically.
Someone even suggested immediately arresting Lynn, examining his memory, to decide whether to conduct a trial!
“To gain something, some price naturally has to be paid!” Lynn said nonchalantly. “I assume you’ve all experienced the convenience of Magic Power, haven’t you?”
Par equaled peace built on deterrence, and Lynn was fully aware of this fact. Although both sides had previously remained in peace, he had seen the various underhanded actions the geometric civilization was up to behind the scenes, conducting multiple overt probes; all they both sought were the survival of their respective civilizations through covert means!
“It’s time to make a decision now!” Since his cover was blown, Lynn tore off the facade and coldly said. “Is it submission, welcoming the rebirth of civilization and becoming a vassal of the Magic Empire, or choosing to face the destruction of your civilization?”
Lynn’s arrogant words instantly incited a fervent reaction, even though it was the Magic Empire who initially breached the alliance, now brazenly issuing threats.
Moreover, for a single person to expect an entire geometric civilization to submit, it could only be described as arrogant!
“Kill him!” an angry disc leader shouted loudly.
The Supreme Leader was also utterly enraged, immediately issuing an attack command to the optical brain, as Lynn’s words had already crossed his bottom line. The geometric civilization might compromise, but they could not become puppets of a High-dimensional civilization!
However, after the command to attack was issued, the weapon systems in the conference hall did not activate.
Lynn clapped his hands, and the surrounding containment nets flickered and disappeared without a trace, then he slowly walked toward where the Supreme Leader stood.
Realizing something was wrong, the guards pulled out portable cluster beam guns, only for the weapons in their hands to explode upon pressing the trigger.
A series of violent explosions echoed throughout the conference room, instantly wiping out all the guards.
The same disc leaders who had clamored to capture and destroy Lynn immediately fell silent, and some even desperately tried to flee the venue, but the space here was chaotic, leading them back to the starting point no matter where they headed.
The most terrified was the Supreme Leader of the geometric civilization. Despite having issued a level-one alert, no support had arrived up to this point…
Lynn continued to approach step by step, his pace unhurried, as if each step trampled on the hearts of everyone present in the conference hall.
“Enough, stop!” The Supreme Leader raised the scepter in his hand, fiercely threatening. “In the space where we are now, a trigger core has been placed. Once I activate this scepter, the internal miniature black hole will instantly destroy everything!”
The power of a black hole goes without saying. In the last war with the ‘Magic Empire,’ they utilized artificial black hole technology to destroy the ‘Magic Empire’s high-dimensional biological weaponry, the only available bargaining chip for them!
But to the Supreme Leader’s surprise, Lynn shrugged, unconcerned, saying.
“You may press it at will, feel free to press it!”
“Here, all the cosmic laws are for me to decide!”
“For example, the direction of the electromagnetic force here is reversed, matter and antimatter can’t annihilate directly, the range of the Strong Nuclear Force is significantly reduced…” Lynn listed one by one, and as if remembering something, spoke again.
“Oh, and here Quantum Entanglement requires a specific medium, and their spins are also reversed!”
As soon as the words fell, the conference hall, resembling daylight, immediately darkened, and all defensive systems lost functionality–due to the change in quantum laws, the optical brain’s core… exploded!
The same fate befell the scepter in the Supreme Leader’s hand–the only bargaining chip for geometric civilization’s negotiation!
“This can’t be, this can’t be!” Chief Researcher Yita stared fixatedly at Lynn, filled with disbelief. How could the cosmic laws change just because of what he said?
Nevertheless, part of Lynn’s words could be verified, such as the direction of the electromagnetic force…
Yita abruptly grabbed a communication device from the table, haphazardly dismantling it, creating a motor on the spot to conduct an examination.
“The direction of the electromagnetic force is reversed, it’s really reversed…” At the moment the result came out, Yita was nearly driven mad, his centuries-long beliefs and perseverance crumbling mercilessly.
Other researchers attending the conference similarly conducted their experiments, unable to accept the result, hysterically shouting.
“Physics no longer exists… physics no longer exists!”
