Ye Shu pushed open the hotel door and started looking for the banquet hall.This was her first time attending such a cocktail party and she had no idea what she should do.

Callie had chosen for her a purple, diamond-encrusted wrap dress. She was not tall, and her skirt draped to the ground, covering her 7cm heels. The dress clung tightly to her body and swayed beautifully with every step Ye Shu took. The shawl that covered her bare back made the skin of her back more visible as she moved.

The man lowered his voice and whispered into Ye Shu’s ear, “It’s very rude for a lady to walk in alone. Trust me!”

She did not know if she was bewitched by the man’s voice but she instantly believed the man’s words. She did not resist the man anymore and allowed him to drag her inside.

Ye Shu could feel the stares of many people around her.

There were even a few women standing at the side whispering to one another. Their gazes could bore a hole in Ye Shu’s body.

Ye Shu lowered her head in discomfort.

When they reached the main hall, a man walked towards Ye Shu and her partner. He first glanced at Ye Shu before whispering to the man beside her. The latter first revealed a surprised expression before saying apologetically to Ye Shu, “I’m sorry, I still have something to do and need to leave first.”

“Please go ahead! Sorry for troubling you just now!” Ye Shu politely nodded at the other party.

The man didn’t say anything else and left quickly.

Ye Shu stood at the main venue again, searching for CEO Xing’s figure in a daze.

The main venue was divided into two levels.

She had just walked into the venue from the upper level, and the venue below had a special passageway that seemed to be open only for special people.

The two floors of the venue were connected by a spiral staircase made of glass, and the handrail of the staircase was decorated with lights.
