Ye Shu sat on the sofa at the side and was studying Ye Xun’s homework. She asked without looking up, “Why?”

The department manager nodded impatiently.

“But I just got here…” Ye Shu said with some difficulty.

The department manager snorted and turned to enter the office, closing the door behind him.

The car stopped outside the most famous beauty salon in the city. Secretary Chen got off first.

Ye Shu pushed open the door and got out of the car. She looked up at the fashionable shop.

“Miss Ye, please!” Secretary Chen said politely.

Ye Shu nodded and followed Secretary Chen into the door.

“Callie, please help Miss Ye dress up. The gala tonight is very important!” Secretary Chen said to the woman who came up to her.

Callie hurriedly replied, “Secretary Chen, please leave it to me!”

“Miss Ye, please follow me.” Callie smiled at Ye Shu and led her inside.

“Miss Ye, are you satisfied?” Callie stood behind Ye Shu and asked with a smile.

Ye Shu looked at herself in the mirror and widened her eyes in disbelief.

She had never seen herself dressed so… gorgeously!

There was just one issue.

Ye Shu turned around and looked at her reflection in a backless dress.

“Isn’t this too revealing?” Ye Shu frowned. Clearly, she was a little uncomfortable with this overly revealing appearance.
