But the flower did exist, the doctor begged the butler to give him a few more days, and he took the flower back to study it.

The butler agreed, and the doctor took some of Xi Ning’s blood before leaving.

Xi Ning sat on the edge of the bed with his legs folded, his furry ears drooping back and with a frightened expression on his face, “Am I going to die?”
