Chapter 34: Golden Chest and More Players

Xia Feng and Big Black weren’t fully back to themselves until after an hour of rest.
During the hour, they had water and some food.
Looking back at the 22nd island, and remembering the feeling of helplessness on the second floor of the Cave of the Dead, Xia Feng clenched his fists.
He then focused his attention on the glittering membrane before him. A golden hint popped up.

Very soon, Zhou Xing was caught in a dilemma.
“Should we retreat?”
“Or should we compete with Xia Feng for the chest?”
That was definitely a tough choice.
Seeing that the new players showed no reaction after a long time, Xia Feng walked to the Golden Chest with a piece of gold.
Hardly had Xia Feng moved when the members of Zhou Xing’s team shouted, “Captain, Xia Feng is walking to the Golden Chest! He’s going to open it!”

Xia Feng looked at him, but didn’t shake his hand, as he wasn’t certain if the guy hadn’t smeared poison on his hand or anything.
Glancing at the man who called himself Zhou Xing, Xia Feng directly asked, “Are you going to stop me from opening the Golden Chest?”
“I can exchange something for that.” Zhou Xing didn’t deny it, and tried to negotiate with Xia Feng.
“That’s unnecessary. What do you think can possibly compare to a Golden Chest?” Xia Feng declined his request immediately.
“I’ll give you 10 seconds to consider.” Xia Feng glanced at the five strange players, and grabbed the Frost Blade. “Move, or die.”
“Xia Feng, I think we can talk nicely. I have a secret that I’m sure you’re very interested in.” Zhou Xing backed off to a safe distance, and tried to persuade Xia Feng again.
Unfazed, Xia Feng opened his mouth. “You have three seconds.”
Three seconds had already passed as he talked.
Xia Feng dashed forward and pointed the freezing Frost Blade at Zhou Xing’s face.
Zhou Xing quickly backed off to avoid Xia Feng’s attack while he roared, “Xia Feng, have you ever heard about the closed beta tester?”
“The closed beta test?”
Xia Feng was quite intrigued, but he didn’t slow down at all, and attacked even faster.
Zhou Xing was quite angry about Xia Feng’s arrogance.
He took out a red sword and fought back.
Zhou Xing’s teammates all dispersed, and took out their remote weapons, ready to fire at Xia Feng anytime.

When the Frost Blade hit Zhou Xing’s longsword, an enormous force burst out like a torrent, and knocked Zhou Xing away.
The red sword in his hand was also flung away, landing on the ground.
“How can the gap in our strength be so huge?” Zhou Xing mumbled to himself in shock, wearing the same expression as the dead William had.
He had drunk a lot of beast blood to strengthen himself these days, and thought that Xia Feng couldn’t have been much stronger than himself.

During these few seconds, Zhou Xing’s teammates had all collapsed. They were no match for Xia Feng at all.
Zhou Xing quickly picked up his red sword, and gazed at Xia Feng coldly.
“You think you’ve won? There’s no telling who the winner is! Berserker!” Zhou Xing roared, and became much more intimidating. He even grew taller.
After his strength increased, Zhou Xing stomped and threw himself at Xia Feng like a cannonball.
However, five seconds later, Zhou Xing fell on the ground again in the berserker state.
Pointing the Frost Blade at Zhou Xing with a playful smile, Xia Feng remarked, “Now I’m the winner, am I not?
“Okay, now we can talk. What was the beta tester that you mentioned?”
