Layla picked up the fruit knife and plunged it down into her aorta fiercely.

Just as that fruit knife was about to cut through Layla’s delicate and smooth skin, green flames appeared out of nowhere and swept that fruit knife away!

“Hmph, stupid woman! Don’t forget that you’re my prey! There’s no way I’ll let you commit suicide!”

“I definitely will not let you die so easily. I’ll only make you wish you were dead!” the evil spirit spat viciously.

As soon as it finished speaking, the evil spirit’s green flames transformed into a huge palm that swooped towards Layla.

Layla couldn’t dodge in time and tried to use her arm to block it, but she was directly thrown to the ground by this force. The moment the green flames touched her skin, Layla screamed out in pain.

Before Layla could do anything to resist, the green palm grabbed her hair in one move and yanked her down from the wheelchair.
