Chapter 403: Chapter 402: Fist of Death!
“Crash! Bang!”
Vasily’s body was blasted into the courtyard room by Pandora’s fist, breaking through who knows how many walls before coming to a stop.
What?!
Suo Men, standing at the doorway, snapped to his senses, jerked his head around, and shot a sharp glare at Pandora. After staring for a while, he frowned slightly and glanced at the room in the courtyard.
Although he and Vasily had some animosity, he was still somewhat concerned for Vasily’s safety at this time.
That being said, that idiot who always likes to call others idiots couldn’t have been carelessly killed by this girl of unknown origin, could he?
As Suo Men pondered, a coughing sound came from the room, followed by the noise of pushing aside bricks and stones.
“Cough, cough, cough! Crash! Damn! Damn it!”
Vasily’s figure appeared, cursing as he walked out of the room. He didn’t look good, his face was torn up from hitting something, and the entire left side of his chest was grotesquely caved in–struck by Pandora’s fist–if he hadn’t desperately used some spell to lessen the force at the last moment, he would have been completely pierced through, ending up in the same state as the White Stone Tower Wizard Eisen.
“Damn it, to hell with this!” Stepping outside, Vasily kept cursing continuously. He glanced at his body and, in the next moment, tore open his shirt, stabbed his fingernails into the bloodied flesh of his chest, grasped a large number of broken ribs on the left side, and yanked hard. He ripped them out as if tearing off useless stickers from his body, then casually tossed them to the ground.
At that moment, Vasily’s ribcage was exposed, and his heart beat against the air.
“Thump, thump, thump!”
Pandora’s face was expressionless.
After a long while.
“Huh, that’s somewhat interesting.” Vasily spoke to Pandora, turned his head to look at Suo Men, who was about to make a move, and said, “Hey, Suo Men, don’t interfere, let me handle this. I’m really curious about this little girl now, I want to have some fun with her.”
Hearing this, Suo Men stood still, with an indifferent expression, and said, “As you wish, but just to remind you, we haven’t completed our task yet. If you keep delaying here, another ten minutes would be your limit.”
“That’s enough,” Vasily said, squinting at Pandora.
Pandora remained silent and expressionless.
“Hey, little girl, what’s your background?” Vasily asked. “You shouldn’t belong to this courtyard, right? Where are you from? You’re not one of the White Stone Tower wizards, are you, transformed by Spiritual Magic to look like this?
Come to think of it, if you truly were a White Stone Tower wizard, you should have acted when I killed your comrade just now. Since you didn’t, you’re not one of them. So, who are you?!”
Pandora remained silent, not uttering a word.
“Not speaking, huh? Then let me see how long you can last,” Vasily said, waving his hand. His exposed heart beat faster as numerous Wind Blades condensed around him and then whirled towards Pandora like swirling snowflakes.
“Swish, swish, swish!”
The Wind Blades rapidly swept across Pandora’s body, producing a “slicing” noise as they easily cut through her clothes, but upon touching Pandora’s skin, they shattered to pieces.
Vasily’s eyes narrowed as he raised his hand and unleashed Wind Blades again towards Pandora.
“Whoosh!”
A Wind Blade whizzed past Pandora’s hair, cutting off a strand of purple hair and reducing it to purple dust.
Pandora’s brow furrowed.
In the next moment, as Vasily released Wind Blades for the third time, Pandora stomped on the ground with a “snap”, and like an enraged young lion, she charged swiftly at Vasily.
“Snap, snap, snap!”
The Wind Blades hit Pandora, tearing her clothes into even more shreds. Clenching her teeth, she raised her bare arms to block in front and with increasing force from her feet, sped up, getting closer and closer to Vasily.
But just as she was about to reach Vasily, there was a “bang” as the air abruptly surged.
The Shaping Energy Wind Magic activated, and the air in front of Pandora acted like a giant spring, violently bouncing her back.
“Thud!”
Failing to maintain her balance, Pandora flew backwards and landed on the ground with a thud.
However, Pandora was not injured. She supported herself with her hands off the ground, stood up again, and looked at Vasily with an annoyed expression.
Vasily smirked and spoke, “Little girl, although I have no idea what your identity is, with the strength you’re showing now, it’s going to be very difficult for you to attack me without ambushing.”
Pandora remained silent and didn’t argue back, “Thud,” she firmly stomped on the ground and once again rushed toward Vasily.
Vasily smirked in contempt and, following the previous method, conjured up another Wind Blade to attack Pandora.
Pandora positioned her arms in front of her body to block the attack while accelerating toward her target. Just as she was about to reach Vasily, the air surged violently once again, bouncing Pandora back like a massive spring.
This time, Pandora was prepared and didn’t fall; she landed from the forceful recoil, wobbled a bit, and then steadied herself, glaring at Vasily with wide eyes.
Vasily kept shaking his head and called out to Pandora, “Hey, little girl, little miss! Are you deaf, or maybe a fool? Did you even understand a word I said? After failing twice, haven’t you figured it out yet? With your strength, it’s impossible to attack me; if you were smart, you’d have run away by now.”
Pandora didn’t flee; her eyes remained fixed on Vasily as if she could kill him with her stare.
“Thump!”
A sound rang out as Pandora’s foot stomped a dent into the ground; she launched her third assault, charging at Vasily with all her might.
“Damn! Looks like another idiot!”
Vasily cursed, growing impatient, and once more unleashed a Wind Blade towards Pandora.
“Thump! Swish! Thump! Swish!”
Pandora advanced against the Wind Blades; each blade shattered upon her arms as she got closer and closer to Vasily…
Six meters, five meters, four meters.
Three meters, two meters, one meter!
Just within reach!
“Thump!”
Pandora reached Vasily, her eyes focused on him, and she clenched her fist and threw a fierce punch at Vasily’s head.
Vasily showed no fear and gave Pandora a scornful glance, his fingers twitched slightly as he rapidly unleashed the prepared spell.
“Whoosh!”
The air surged violently for the third time, transforming into a fierce wind that struck Pandora, bracing to blast her away as it had before with immense repelling force.
But–
“Ah!”
At the moment the air surged, Pandora shouted out, her first sound since leaving the courtyard of the research facility.
That cry, as if empowered by an unknown magical force, allowed her to stand her ground against the wind; her legs were as if nailed to the earth, unmoved by the gale, with only her hair flying wildly about her like a raging purple flame, or the eye of a demon peering out from hell.
“Whoosh!”
Pandora’s fist broke through the fierce wind, barreling forward unstoppable!
Vasily was stunned, unprepared for such an accident. He tried to rectify the situation, but his body couldn’t keep up. He could only watch in horror as Pandora’s fist inched closer and closer to him.
The punch seemed harmless, but Vasily acutely felt an overwhelming force accumulating.
In Vasily’s mind appeared a vision: an enormous black “Death” character emerged from behind Pandora, covering the entire sky and occupying the entire world!
Death!
Death!!!
“You’re going to die!”
That thought crossed Vasily’s mind.
“If it lands, I’m surely dead!”
Vasily was seized by fear, filled with regret, thinking he shouldn’t have been so careless.
But there is no cure for regret in this world, and the fist grew larger and larger in Vasily’s field of vision.
Death came.
