Su Yanxi glanced at the list on the coffee table. She knew what it was after a quick glance. Pursing her lips, she looked up at his sharp gaze and asked calmly, “Explain what?”

“You want a divorce?” Looking at her nonchalant expression, Lu Jingyan felt a ball of fire in his chest and could not vent it out no matter what.

“Yes.” Su Yanxi stood there, neither humble nor arrogant. There was a hint of determination in her faint voice, and she did not even look away from him.

Hearing her affirmative answer, he narrowed his eyes and loosened his tie. His cold voice came out from his thin lips. “What’s the reason?.”

Su Yanxi looked down with a faint smile on her lips, but her tone was cold. “According to the matrimonial laws, those who have been separated for more than two years can request for a divorce. Is this considered a reason?”

Lu Jingyan narrowed his cold eyes and stood up. He unbuttoned his light blue shirt and approached her slowly. “So, are you accusing me of not fulfilling my duty as a husband?”

“No…” She didn’t even think about it.

Looking at the man’s handsome face that was so close to her, Su Yanxi’s heart skipped a beat. Coupled with the strong masculine scent lingering at the tip of her nose, she instinctively took two steps back. She only stopped when she was blocked by the sofa and had nowhere to go. The next day, as soon as Su Yanxi arrived at the office and sat down, Mo Bai pushed open the office door and walked in, “Yanxi, I heard from Yi Yao that you were looking for me yesterday? Why didn’t you call or send me a WeChat message?”

Su Yanxi glanced at him and took out her laptop from her bag. She smiled faintly, “It’s nothing important, so I didn’t call you.”

“Nothing important?” Mo Bai pulled out a chair and sat down, “So, what is it?”
