After “cohabiting” with Lu Jingyan for a few days, the weather gradually warmed up. She removed her heavy coat and changed into a thin windbreaker.

After leaving the meeting room, Su Yanxi picked up the call, “Hello!”
“Old Master called to say that we’ve to go back for dinner tonight.” The magnetic voice on the other end of the phone rang and entered her ears.
Su Yanxi replied softly, “Okay, I got it.”
“What time are you getting off work?”
“Six o’clock.”
“I’ll come to fetch you.”
Upon hearing these words, Su Yanxi was stunned when she opened her office door, “Fetch me?”
“Why?”
“No… I just… Ahem…” Su Yanxi said instinctively, but she felt that there was no need to explain so much, so she pretended to cough lightly and said,” Um, I drove here myself this morning, so there’s no…”
“No one will steal your car if you leave it in the parking lot. I have an emergency here. I’m hanging up now.” Lu Jingyan interrupted her coldly. He then swiftly hung up the phone because of the nurse’s words.

Just as they walked out of the law firm, a black Bentley caught their attention. The dashing figure leaning against the car door looked very tall and handsome in the sunset.
