Lu Anran opened her mouth to rebut, but no words came out of it. She did say that because she didn’t think that he would really do such a thing.

But now, she seemed to have miscalculated.

Could a person really change? Could they really be capable of doing good towards those who hurt them?

He who never had much patience was surprisingly patient at this moment. He simply stood in place before speaking slowly, “If you don’t want to, I’ll ask someone to take you away. Stop looking for me.”

With that said, he turned around to get the phone. Lu Anran hurriedly crawled over and pressed her hot fingers over his hand that was holding the phone.

Gu Liangchen lowered his eyes and silently watched their hands touching. His demeanor changed.

The next second, he shrugged off, put on that cold expression, and stared at her indifferently.

Lu Anran looked away uncomfortably, then said reluctantly, “I didn’t… I didn’t say 

I didn’t want to…”

After saying this, Lu Anran lowered her head and deeply realized what it was like to swallow her pride. Her cheeks, which were already flushed, became even hotter. She bit her lip and decided to bite the bullet. She called him softly again, “Liangchen…”

She had a smile on her face, but her heart felt so uncomfortable that she was about to suffocate. They had genuine feelings for each other in the past, yet he was troubling her like this…
