Quinn’s expression darkened as she quickly made a phone call, “I want to investigate the perfumer Mandy, you can name your price, just get me the information ASAP.”

Quinn suddenly laughed. Xaviera Evans wanted to destroy her with a plagiarism scandal, but she hadn’t expected that this incident would ultimately benefit her. Once it was cleared up, she would become the talk of the perfume world.

Jacob felt like there was a huge rock lodged in his chest. He wanted to tell his father and grandmother everything that had happened to him today – that the investor was Julius Powell, and what would become of the Powell Group after signing the betting agreement. But he couldn’t bring himself to say it.

If he hadn’t received Quinn’s call, he would never have signed the betting agreement. But now the plagiarism rumor had spread online, and if Quinn couldn’t prove her innocence, the Powell Group would never recover!

Seeing that Jacob still wouldn’t speak, Robert grew more anxious, “Jacob, what’s going on? Say something!”

Jacob moved his lips but remained silent. He shook his head. If he revealed everything, Quinn would be heartbroken, feeling that he didn’t trust her as a brother. Quinn’s health was already fragile; it was better for him to bear these troubles himself!

Quinn didn’t disclose that the investor was Julius Powell. She wanted to make Robert and Madam Powell believe that the most likely person to attack the Powell Group was Xaviera Evans.

Jacob was taken aback, “Quinn, how do you know all this?”

Looking at him with a worried and aggrieved expression, Quinn said, “Brother, I know you don’t want to hurt me and don’t want to tell me. But these things happened because of me, I was bound to find out sooner or later.”
