“Bank in the money as soon as possible since he’s already passed it to you. I’m afraid things might go south if you delay any further! I don’t want anything to happen to my son!”

Gu Qingqing did not respond. After a short pause, her mother asked another question.

“Did you argue with Leng Sicheng again? Let me tell you something. When a man becomes rich, he will always look for other women to have fun. It is normal for a rich and powerful man like Leng Sicheng to sleep with other women. Don’t overthink it.”

“Mom, I thought you asked me to pay attention to the women Leng Sicheng hangs out with?”

“All I asked you to do is to keep an eye on them. Whatever it is, you shouldn’t argue with Leng Sicheng. I know he is in a close relationship with a celebrity.
