The words shocked Xia Siyu, and after a few seconds, her face, ears, and neck, all blushed pink! Even her back broke out in a sweat.

Numerous rumors about Xia Siyu floated around in the entertainment industry. If not for her fiery temper and almost undefeatable demeanor, more undesirable news about her would’ve emerged.

Even though that was the case, the comments online would say, “She has encountered people from all walks of life.”

Xia Siyu could show the “What have I not seen” face in front of outsiders. Yet, in front of Bo Yan, who knew her secrets and her past, that brave front became a paper tiger. It could be easily crushed.

Bo Yan put the script aside and stood up.

Xia Siyu, who was originally on high alert, got warning signals in her heart. She did not retreat a step, but her eyes became razor-sharp. Her brows, which were initially furrowed, sharply stood up as though they were the eyes of an animal ready to attack the enemy.

Especially when his footsteps were aimed for her, she became even more alert.

This was different from their meeting at the Film Studio. That was a public space, and Xia Siyu knew that Wei Jingjing was somewhere near them. If Bo Yan dared to act indecently toward her back then, she could shout for help even if she could not fight against him.

Bo Yan neared Xia Siyu, but she remained rooted to the ground. Her eyeballs turned to focus on the glass beside the water cooler.

If Bo Yan dared to hurt her, she would smash the glass on his head, gorge his eyeballs out, and kick his genitals.

Bo Yan continued to expressionlessly walk. However, Xia Siyu would no longer be the same fool as she was last time and wait for him to approach. She quickly turned around and grabbed the glass. Then, she shot daggers at the ill-intentioned man.

Bo Yan stopped right before her and reached out with his long arms. The scene resembled the last time, where he wanted to grab her wrist.

As a conditional reflex, Xia Siyu had lifted the glass and intended to attack. However, Bo Yan’s hand went past her body and grabbed another glass, and he poured a glass of water for himself.

Xia Siyu did not put down the glass in her hand as she looked at his gulping throat with vigilance.

After drinking the water, Bo Yan turned around and walked to the study room. His eyes never met hers throughout the whole process as if her presence was air to him.

Before she could open her mouth, Bo Yan suddenly slowed down. Xia Siyu’s grip on the glass tightened and her alertness skyrocketed.

Without turning his head, Bo Yan hurled a cold order at her. “Don’t disturb me or come near me. I don’t want to see your presence within two meters of my surroundings.”
