Wei Jingjing quickly took a photo, turned back, and walked toward the lift. As she walked, she took note of her surroundings to check if anyone was following her. She was afraid that they would hurt Xia Siyu!

When she returned to the car, she showed the photo to Xia Siyu.

After moderating her emotions, Wei Jingjing calmed down. “Siyu, we can’t find a good house for you to temporarily live in. I’ll have to trouble you to stay here.”

Xia Siyu nodded.

After they separated, Xia Siyu went to the apartment. She turned on the lights and kicked her heels off. Too lazy to change into slippers, she walked into the bedroom barefooted. After turning off the light and lying on the bed, she looked at the ceiling with a tired expression. She felt exhausted, too exhausted. She got up and filled the bathtub with hot water. The hot water did not wash anything away, and she felt more tired instead.
